i know there have been a lot of posts regarding the fix of the "Android phone cant connect to pc", and i have tried almost all methods. but still didnt got any working solution. i am using windows 8 x64 and i am stuck in a bootloop after restarting my nexus 4. also the phone is not recognized by my pc. its always detected as an unknown device. then i tried to wipe the system and again install a fresh rom but pc wont recognize it as adb device. i installed latest google usb drivers from device manager and android sdk. i have twrp recovery. i tried adb sideload but it isnt working . please help !!!:(:( my phone is DEAD!! :(

Hey, I received a notification on my watch, so as I go to look at it (the screen is always on mode) the watch is frozen in ambient mode. When I hard reset it, the screen just goes black but I still receive vibrations upon various actions. Any ideas? I really hope the screen isn't dead. There have been no other signs of damage...

I install TWRP via odin on my galaxy core i8262. installation was successful and pass shows in odin screen. but when I tried to on my phone in recovery mode by pressing volume down+home+powre key then my phone does not go on any recovery mode neither stock recovery nor TWRP and phone starts. in simple words I m unable to on my phone in any recovery mode.:( so plzz help me... and I have a ques also is my phone warranty is voided by installing custom recovery??:confused: I have only install recovery?? plzz reply soon...:(

[Q] Urgent help required regarding HTC One microphone topic

Ok so the reason this is urgent is because i purchased a 2nd hand HTC One off of Amazon and i seem to be having issues with it's mic during calls, if the issue can not be fixed by myself then i need to ask the seller for a refund ASAP.

Today i tried calling someone only for them to tell me they can not hear me during the call, i switched to speaker mode and everything was fine.

I assumed the bottom mic was faulty so i tried recording my voice with easy voice recorder and covered the top mic on the back, i was surprised to find that the bottom mic recorded my voice with no issues and it was ust as loud as my moto g which has zero problems with calls (the htc one was clearer).

I have done a search and it seems quite a few people have this issue but it's usually a busted mic, surely that can't be the case with mine or could it? I have tried cleaning it out with a toothbrush bristle.

It's fully stock unrooted and on android 4.4.3, i have done a factory reset 3 times already

Hey guys my cousin tried to upload a custom rom on his Galaxy S3 Mini, and something went wrong.

When i checked the base model before it went into bootloop it said it was the 8190N, but when i take the battery off, it says I8190 (Not N).
i can't go into recovery mode. i can only get to download mode. i am trying to find a solution, i am trying to find an official rom, that might help me, but it seems i can't get it to work.
My cousin has to leave tomorrow for a travel, and it is important to have his phone back...

Can you please help me with some advice?
Last custom rom that tried to get installed was virginity, it got root and super user, but after the installation of the rom, it got into bootloop.
Please share some ideas - links.

URGENT help needed. XtreStoLite USB problems. topic

Okay. Hi guys.
I'm having some horrible USB connection problems and I've no idea whether they are hardware/software. I'm leaning towards the former.
About a month ago I noticed while plugged into my charger, my phone wasn't charging. Wiggling the cable did little, if anything to help. But it only happened that one day, and after a few beeps and boops of connections coming and going, it had seemed to have fixed itself.

Yesterday I decided to upgrade from XtreStoLite KitKat to XtreStoLite Lollipop. I made a bit of a mess of it and accidentally wiped my entire OS/cache/data before even putting the ROM on the sdcard directory. Fortunately I had already upgraded the modem/bootloader and was able to sideload the ROM.

I say I was able to sideload the ROM successfully, but this is really where the issues started to resurface. The first dozen or so times I tried to sideload I got "ADB not recognized" errors in CMD. I tried all sorts of USB driver re-installations, and installing google USB drivers from the Android SDK etc and nothing was working. Lots of beeps and boops of drivers installing and USB connections being made. In a last ditch attempt, I went back to CMD and once again typed "sideload adb rom.exe" and by some random miracle it worked. But that was the LAST time. I tried again later and got the same error as previously.

Anyway... new ROM installed. I ran through the set-up process and plugged my phone in to transfer over the add-on pack so I could re-activate Samsung Kies connections in order to restore my apps/photos etc.
*B-beep-b-b-b-eep-boop-b-beep* The phone was wildly connecting and disconnecting. I unplug it, blow into the USB connector - try to see any bent pins, but can't see anything. After a few tries I get it to connect long enough for me to transfer the file. Kies reinstalled. Throughout this WHOLE process there has been FAR too many disconnects.

If I DO get my phone to connect - Kies is stuck eternally on "connecting". I have a feeling MTP mode is just broken - as NOTHING shows up in My Computer when in that mode. Odin 3.09 no longer sees my phone at all, and when I connect in Camera mode NONE of the .zip files I placed in the sdcard directory show in Windows at all. But they ARE there, as I can still install from .zip in recovery.

The phone seems to work fine. But I want to restore my Kies backup, add/remove the .zips in the main sdcard directory, and see my phone in Odin.
Please help me. I am scared.

Need urgent help.. topic

I am longer able to charge my phone properly using a wall charger... It only takes 100ma current when plugged to an Ac source..
It charges properly when connected to a USB port..
I was running on cm 12 + Boeffla kernel when I first had this problem..
Tried wipe/data cache and now flashed stock 4.3.
Still no use it takes around 1 hours to get 2% charge on Ac.
Ps. Battery is working properly got about 1 day backup.Anyone please help me with this asap

Bricked Phone...Kind of Urgent topic

I was running the safestrap that I installed off this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2720163 -- hadn't changed it since. So yeah...today my phone started just randomly turning off. I figured nothing of it until it didn't want to turn on again. I played with it, tried to backup stuff when I could boot into it (got most personal stuff, so that's good), and yeah..I couldn't. So I thought I would try flashing back to stock via Odin. Well, I started to flash back, and all of a sudden it failed. So now, I have a problem. Instead of boot looping like it was before (battery in, would vibrate in a second, flash logo for about two seconds, then go black) - I put the battery in, it vibrates in about two seconds and says Firmare Upgrade Encountered an Issue. Please go into Kies recovery and try again or whatever. If I go into Odin mode, it goes there, and then basically shuts back off, so I can't even get Odin to work correctly with it.

Funny..the whole reason I had to upgrade from my S3 was because it did this same thing, battery in, booted, then flashed logo and went black. Couldn't 'unbrick' it. Only common link is the SD card...wonder if that did it.

My HTC ONE X is rooted unlocked and S-OFF

I was about to install ARHD latest ROM. I went to flash boot.img first.
The moment I clicked on "install-boot-windows.bat" in FASTBOOT USB mode, everything just froze.
No button works. My computer gives a message of " USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNISED" .
When I try to give any command from Fastboot or ALL IN ONE TOOL KIT, IT SAYS " waiting for device" .

My phone is stuck at FASTBOOT USB screen.
please help as fast as possible. I can't wait for my device to die.

[Urgent Help Required!] Phone boots, but no download mode or recovery! topic

Hi,

Have a weird situation, but try as much as I may, I'm unable to resolve it.

My phone is rooted (international D802) and was running fine. Had a screen issue and got it replaced at the service center but their system identified my phone as a rooted device, and a couple of days later the problems started.

The issues I'm facing right now:

1. The phone doesn't charge when switched on, at all.

2. The phone doesn't reboot either.. not instantly anyways. If powered off, or rebooted, the phone doesn't turn back on, it just goes dead. It does boot again though if tried after a couple of hrs.

3. The phone charges when its off (shows no light or indicator though, like its bricked)

4. Cannot go into either recovery or download mode. Coz the phone doesn't boot when restarted or when i try to reboot into recovery.

5. When it does magically start after a few hrs (upon long pressing the power button), even if I try to go into download or recovery via the vol keys, it just boots to android.

6. The phone is recognized properly as LG G2 under windows and all the drivers install too.

7. The phone isn't recognized under Linux... tried both Ubuntu and Knoppix.

Travelling out of the country in a few days, really need to sort this out.

Any and all help/suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Need urgent help making nav buttons transparent topic

he onscreen buttons take up a ton of space. Is there anyway to make them smaller and transparent? This black bar on bottom takes up way to much room. I know in the past there had been options to edit them under the display settings but I am not seeing such options on any 5.0.2 ROM. (I have tried vanir and liquid smooth)

This is on a Verizon vs985. I am pretty familar with the build.prop if Editting it is a must.

I will even paypal someone money for a candy bar if they solve my delima.
