[Q] Bad radio - can't track down the answer topic

Hi everyone, hope someone can point me in the right direction. Flashed OmniROM on an HTC desire (bravo) and it's working great. Only problem is when making a call, no sound comes out of the earpiece. If I put it on speaker phone it's fine, and apparently when it's not on speakerphone the mic works fine, people can hear me on the other end, but I can't hear a thing. Suspect the radio is the problem here so need advice on which radio to use (especially for internet use too) and how to install it. I have Ext4 bootloader installed too. This is my interim phone after my Samsung Galaxy S2 died completely (will not power up since it died during normal operation), which looks like it would need a JTAG burn to fix, right after I successfully replace the USB board. Anyway, any help appreciated. Thank you.

[Q] Rooting w/o the Down Vol Button topic

I'd like to install OmniROM 4.4.2 on my XOOM, but the volume down button doesn't work on this tablet. I understand the volume buttons used to navigate the Recovery menus. Can I install a "touch" Recovery that completely circumvents the need for the volume buttons to navigate?

[Q] Pull down menu notification options? topic

I'm unable to post this question in the ViperOne thread as I don't have enough posts (I mostly read/lurk and have mostly been able search for answers successfully when I have questions). However, I haven't so far found anything regarding this question I have (maybe an answer doesn't exist). Anyhow, I was wondering when you pull down your menu to look at notifications (emails and texts for example), is there a way to change what quick options you have for emails. Mine shows "Reply" or "Forward" but I am wondering if those can be changed to what you want. For me, I'd prefer to have "Reply" or "Delete." Two years ago when I had a rooted Galaxy S3 with CM (different phone, I know), I remember having the "Delete" option. I have a rooted, s-off HTC One M7 running the latest Viper ROM. Thanks! Latest T-Mobile Update Slowed Down My Phone topic

Hi guys,

So i just downloaded and installed the latest T-mobile update and now my phone is slower.
Every time I hit the home button, the image blinks and redraws and there's just a hint of stutter.
The app drawer also takes a little longer now.

What the heck?

It used to be so zippy and fast. How do I fix it, anyone know?

(Q) Notifications popping back onto screen after swipe down topic

Annoying feature to notifications so far is the forced choice of swiping left and dismissing from phone or swiping down to "keep" the card only to have it pop back up to the bottom of the screen 2 seconds later. Is there any way of avoiding the constant reappearance of cards I just swiped down? Example: I swipe weather down off my screen. A few seconds later is shows back up on the bottom of my screen and clutters my watch face. I just dismissed it, why would I want it right back?

I'm guessing this is just another area where Google is doing beta on us and will fix it down the road.

I'm looking for a case like diztronic ultra case that's also not bulky like an otter box?

I've only owned an otter box and a wallet case for my note and both were bulky.

I'd get the diztronic ultra from amazon, but it's only available in the US, and I reside in canada :(
