(Feature Request) Allow us to increase headphone and speaker volume topic

Please, Allow us to increase headphone and speaker volume in the rom for all devices by using Alsamixer app (in google play) and editing the file in system/etc/sound by es text editor (included in Es file explorer) to include maximum values as read by Alsamixer app for headphone and speaker volume in the file then make it permanent with the rom (not changed by rom updates) as this post:

(Feature request) Allow connecting to 5ghz WiFi networks topic

After installing omnirom 4.4.4 lastest nightlies in note 10.1 n8013, i no longer can join my 5 ghz wifi network as SSD name of that network does not appear (appears in stock rom) and have to join my other 2.4 ghz wi fi network

Feature Request: Move files between folders topic

Hello!
First time posting here.

I actually have no qualms with MX Player except for a minor ui problem:
The app doesn't seem to have a feature that can transfer one file from one folder to another.

Sometimes videos that I save from my mobile browser get sent directly to a downloads folder. It would be nice if I can transfer videos directly from within the app instead of going to my phone's built-in file explorer.

I know this is relatively minor thing but I hope it can be added on the next update.

Hello, I was able to get a center clock in 4.6 by installing gravitybox, but its kinda buggy and doesn't work 100% of the time.. Could this be worked into whatever you guys are going to release next?

Tetded case's smart cover feature does not work with Z3TC topic

So.. I got my new case from Tetded.

Upon my first try, I noticed that the screen didn't turn off when the flap is close.



Instead, the screen was closed when I open the flap all the way back.



and open again when I removed the flap from the back.



Also, you seems to be able to pry the leather open at the edge.



I believe this is due to the magnet position in the case. Not sure if it's because it was incorrectly positioned or they weren't designed for the smart cover function at all.

Anyway, I contact them and they issued me a refund via Paypal and another apologize email. They didn't explain anything though so I'm not sure if this happen on all units.

Hi,

Important : Requires ROOT and also the presence of 'Swipe Up' Gesture (generally used to trigger 'Google Now' in 4.1+ devices )

This is a simple App that emulates the click of Power Button.

Handy when u want to reduce wear and tear of the physical button or if the button is not working.

Currently the following method of Trigger are available:

- Using the Swipe Up Assist action which usually opens the Google Now App

Following are planned to be added:

- Shortcut
- Widget
- Tasker Extension

Advantage over other similar apps in Market:

The usual 'Screen Off' 'Screen Lock' Apps that are available to turn the display off and lock using a widget actually put the device to sleep immediately. This makes the 'Smart Lock' feature introduced in Lollipop not work. Also this makes the timeout period set in the 'Automatically Lock' security settings to not work.

Since my App uses shell commands (and hence the need for Root) to emulate Power Button press, both Smart Lock and 'Automatically Lock' settings work. :)

Note: Have tested it only in my Nexus 5 device.
AFAIK should not cause any problems in any device since nothing dangerous is being used. But still the usual disclaimer : ' I am not responsible for any damage done to your device, hand, home etc... LOL :p'

Smart Lock feature on the leaked lollipop roms topic

The title says it all.

Moderators, if I posted in the wrong section, please direct this thread to the proper one.

So one of the biggest features that I've looked forward to when Lollipop was announced was the smart lock feature, especially the trusted face one. I was so giddy when I finally got to test it out when I tried CM12 build, though it didn't function as well the way I saw it perform on my friend's nexus 7. I was so excited to try this out when lollipop was leaked both to the Note 3. I was utterly disappointed though that it was missing. I've tried beckoning the few developers who have cooked up ROMS from the leaked lollipop.
So I guess this is me beckoning everyone else who have the means to try and figure out if Samsung simply buried the feature or not and if it is possible to bring it out.

Galaxy Gear powersave feature on Null Rom Nova Launcher topic

Has anyone else noticed the powersave feature on the Null rom?
I discovered it by accident and never saw anything about it elsewhere.

1. Long press on empty space in Nova Launcher and select "Shortcuts" from the pop up menu.

2. Select the "Activities" shortcut and scroll down to "Settings" (the Gears settings, not the blue system settings)

3. Select it and scroll through and find the one that says "PowerSaving"

This new shortcut will bring up the powersaving toggle that i have not seen or been able to access anywhere else. It does seem to help the battery life and the only noticable thing it seems to do is turn off haptic feedback.

[Feature Request] GMD Style Immersive Mode topic

I would like GMD Style Immersive Mode and an option to switch between GMD and PIE controls.
The reason I don't use GMD is that a little space is empty at homescreen at bottom for navigation bar.
It would be great if you make GMD Style Immersive Mode work like PIE controls such as no empty space is there on home screen on bottom.

Has anyone figured out a way to get the Knock On feature? I've done a good bit of searching on this forum and on Google but didn't find anything solid. What's the consensus here?
