MAC address changes for each hotspot activation topic

Hello,

i detected by the linux-tool "iwconfig" that the mac-address of the hotspot is changing on every new hotspot activation. There is also a bug-report for it:

In the comments is stated that doomlord fixed that problem. Is there any kernel in here for the nexus 5 from doomlord or others, which have this problem solved?

Very annoying with WICD forgetting the password and Windows always creates a new network.

Network changes on Lollipop? topic

So, hello everyone, first of all, I don't have this problem on =<4.4.4 roms.
Ok, now the actual thing.
I've installed Logmein Hamachi on 5.X using their ARM package and it connects just fine, but when I try to make an incoming connection it doesn't work at all, I can't even make an SSH connection through Hamachi..
(Like, I can ping someone's computer with my phone but they can't ping me)
In android 4.4.4 everything works good.
Are there any network related changes that happened in 5.X that break VPN's?
Someone has idea how to fix this?

Lollipop - Alarm clock volume changes if headphones are connected. topic

I sadly realized ,being late at work, that alarm clock volume changes if you have headphone connected and you are listening to whatever media.

I usually fall asleep with my headphones on listening on something at the lowest volume.This morning I couldn't hear the alarm clock because its volume had followed the headphones' one becoming very low.

I made some test and found out that during media playback the media volume afflicts the alarm clock one, so that if you are listening at high volume you are definitely going to hear the alam.

Obviously I am talking about the speaker volume. The alarm clock is also playing through the headphones but it is easy to lose these during a night sleep.

Anyone experienced this too?

Any suggestion?

P.S. I'm currently running rastapop!
I didn't have this problem with other lollipop roms but it could also have been unlucky today not to hear the alarm clock ringing being the volume affected the same way with other lollipop rom

The notification LED strength changes during charge... topic

I noticed that during charge the LED strength changes without apparent reason. sometimes it's bright red, sometimes it's weaker. same for the green led once charge is complete.
It seems to happen only during charge and only when it relates to the status of the charge. regular notifications seem to be bright.

I have a stock SM-N9005 running 4.4.2.

Is this normal?

[Q] Phone gets unreasonably slow when song changes topic

It bewilders me everytime it happens. I'll be just doing general things on the phone, listening to music in the background, RAM usually on the 800mb+ spectrum, and then when the song changes, at one point my phone was near frozen for almost 40 seconds, while nothing else is going on. I disabled most bloatware, and very obsessively monitor my RAM usage and currently running apps, but when a song changes, whether natively stored on my SD card, or Pandora, the phone gets crazy slow. The weird part to me is, for example, I'll be playing a PS1 game and have my framerate counter in the top, and it'll usually be at 60(Full speed), but when the song changes in the background that I'm listening to, the game will seem like it's running at like 5 fps for like 15 seconds, and yet my framerate counter still displays the normal 60, as if my phone isn't actually slowing down, but it really is. Any way to remedy this?

[Q] External SD Reverting Changes on Reboot topic

Hi everyone. I've been dealing with this for a few days now and I can't seem to figure out what the problem is. I'm currently running Wicked S5 Xperience with PhilZ recovery and CWM bootloader. My permissions file is written appropriately to allow apps to write to the external SD, and I manually went into ES File Explorer and changed the permissions appropriately. I'll take a picture, it saves to my external. Ill create a folder on external and it sticks. When I reboot, the folder is gone and the pictures disappear. I've also deleted pictures from the external, and upon reboot they come back. I've unmounted the external when flashing the ROM. I've formatted my internal SD. I've flashed the permissions file, tried Play Store apps, and manually editing the permissions.xml. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why this is happening. It's like my phone is forgetting what happened on the external when I reboot...

Any input would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

my problem is mentioned above!
I got this problem only when using FireTv not when exchanging it for my htpc.
Hardware is
AV Receiver Yamaha RX V2067
and
Samsung D6900 Plasma.
What can be the reason ? I got it often on scene changes in Movies and it is very annoying...
Is it possible that the cable is the problem?! Although it isn´´t a problem on HTPC so far.
