I keep getting 2 lock screen showing up on 5.0.2. One is default and another one I want to use is Next Lock Screen. How do you change my lock screen to Next without the default popping up?

Hey guys, I have had a odd bug appear:
When in dialogues to send images in apps, especially Facebook - they don't always show up.

Especially just taken/recently taken images that are saved to internal storage rather than external SD.

Wrong number showing in About Phone > Status topic

Hi all,

I recently upgraded from a Note 2 to a Note 4.

Will try and explain the issue - it's only small but bugs me.

My previous sim was Orange and the new sim is EE 4G.

As this was an upgrade I was told my number would transfer to this new phone (Orange and EE are basically the same company in the UK - in fact my old Note 2 showed EE as the network carrier with the Orange sim).

My problem is when I put the new sim supplied in my new Note 4 according to the phone company the sim will take on a temp number until the transfer is complete. However when I make calls to others, my number appears correctly on their phones (same number as was in Note 2). I can no longer make calls on my Note 2 so assume the transfer has been actioned.

HOWEVER the phone is still showing the wrong (temporary?) number in About Phone > Status.

I can find no way to clear this and display the correct number.

Any ideas?!?

[Q] Galaxy Note4 smn910c - Status bar not showing 4G LTE topic

Hi,
I am using Galaxy Note4 smn910c with carrier Simple Mobile. Status bar never shows $G LTE rather it only shows 4G.
My phone is LTE capable. ANy idea why is it not showing LTE on status bar. I have tried with t-mbile sim also and same thing happends. No LTE.
Please suggest.

So I read that there are more than a few apps that can be install and work on the Nexus Player but don't show up in it's store, specifically Crunchyroll is the app i'm talking about, now it did in fact install it and it works, but it doesn't show up on the app list on the main page, to open it I have to dig down in the menu to installed apps in the settings menu and run it from there, is there any way to get it to show up properly on the main page?

i had installed unikat-v4,and v5 but the signal bar does not come but 100% without any distortion i can call use mobile network but the phone signal bar does not come its showing the icon grey but no bars in it i had flashed the modem of note 3 neo sm-n750 and the base-band version is changed but still the same issue in unikat rom but if i install bulldog rom or stock rom the bars come my phone is Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Neo SM-N750 [international varient] is there any possible way to recover it i am getting signal strength in dbm 1439 and asu 776 but no bars in unikat rom

[Q] Device not responsing, red LED not showing charging process topic

Hello everyone.
Friend of mine had a hox with stock rom. He got strange reboots on low battery(known issue). Thats why he wanted to install a custom rom. Unlocking bootloader was successful and then he stuck. He was able to boot to bootloader etc. But somehow after unlocking the device was in htc bootloop. As far as I know, he brought this device to me after this fail, as i got more experience with hox.

So.. after spending half of the day with that device this is what i got:
Device is not reacting on any of my actions, f.e:
Volume Down + Power
Volume Up + Power
Volupe Up + Down + Power (holding about 3 mins)

The red LED is not turning on or blinking after connecting the cable. Tried to connect the device to notebook, another notebook, wall charger and car charger :D.
Seems like device is dead :rolleyes:

So, my question is: Is it possible to boot this device in bootloader? Thank you in advance for helpful posts.

Avast will not detect it untill its not on sdcard.Just move this app in your sdcard and WAIT...

[Q] Android Architecture showing Firmware Boundaries topic

I have seen nice pictures, layerd diagrams of the Android system. What I miss on allthis diagrams is a boundry defining the components in this layered architecture diagram belonging to a firmware upgrade, i.e. JellyBeans to KitKat, which has recently turned of our WLAN capability. Now we look to find a way back to Jelly Beans.

Can you provide such a layered architecture diagram in XDA forums / documents ?

How to stop cards showing when in priority? topic

So when I have my watch and phone in priority only, I keep getting cards that pop up on my 360. They go away when I set my phone to silent, or, "none." Is there any way to make it so I can put my watch and phone in priority (so I still get alarms) but it won't show cards? I don't want to uncheck show cards in the wear app, because I'd have to re-enable it when turning the volume back up. I don't want cards showing on the face when at work. I want it to just be a watch that i can swipe up to see cards. But when I leave work and the volume is turned up (tasker triggered by location) the cards will display on watch. Thanks for any help!
