CM11 Fast dormancy topic

Hi,

Does anyone know how to modify the fast dormancy settings on cm11 for our device?

So I have been experimenting a lot with the fast dormancy reboot issue and have wondered the WHY of certain conditions. From the beginning, I knew that on 2g GSM (edge) there are no reboots. Never questioned, figured it had to do with the way gprs and edge work vs Hspa/hsupa

But.. I also noticed when I am on WI FI at home I never get the reboots either.

On my old Atrix I used to be able to create a hotspot and connect to myself, which fixed some issues for me. This does not work on razr m.

Does an active wifi connection disable fast dormancy? How can we replicate this without root?

The phone is great even stock and BL locked, if some clever mind can figure out fast dormancy toggle without root lots of people would be very grateful

Can't fast forward videos [CM12] topic

I recently flashed temaseks CM12 ROM, had the following issue with playing videos:
I could watch the video, but I couldn't fast forward it. If I fast forward it, I can see the seconds go by, but the screen will be stuck on where it was before I fast forwarded it, and I can hear the sound from the video. This happens on Facebook, but also using different video players (MX player, VLC). So I flashed a different cm12 based ROM, Resurrection. In the comments I haven't seen anyone talking about having this problem too, so I decided to make a thread here. How can I resolve this problem? I really like 5.0 but this is a big struggle for me.
Any help is very much appreciated.
And if anyone also has this problem, please let me know! :D

[APP] SWE Browser [A Fast Browser for Snapdragon Chips] topic

I originally posted this for the oneplus one, but theoretically it should benefit any device using the snapdragon processor and maybe other processors too?

If you try to build it takes a long time to get the code so be patient.

Basically this is an optimized browser made for the snapdragon processor. I have been running it for a few weeks and it is pretty solid. Really fast. I did some benchmarks vs firefox and chrome and it is between 10% - 30% faster. It just seems snappier than other browsers (Chrome and Firefox). If any one can benchmark it against other browsers I would appreciate if you could post the results.

It asks for a bunch of permissions, but I am not sure which ones are actually necessary so I left it as is.

Also if you have an older version of the SWE browser you will have to uninstall it since I signed it with a different key.

How to get a fast charge topic

Ok on kk roms my phone would charge normally with the original charger . but since the lollipop updates whenever i plug my phone in it says slow usb charging . i have in stalled chupa kernel and also have trickster mod donate and selected force fast charge but it still thinks im plugged into my pc.


Any ideas how i can get it to charge normal / faster

Hi people :)

Since I'm part of the lucky people owning a Huawei Ascend Mate 7 (MT7-TL10), I'm actually looking some accessories like a quick charger.

I wish a charger better than the original one if possible, with EU pins, and with a good quality checked (I prefer to avoid some product with awesome specs but not tested ...)

So anyone have any idea where I can find a good charger, and without any risk for my phone ?

[Q] Battery draining fast then slow? topic

I have an issue with my hox, I am running ARHD with the kernel included. The problem is about the battery % stat,it's not updating correctly,for example battery is 80%,I use the phone for 5 mins then suddenly its 72%,at 2% it lasted 1 hour on full brightness. Also it does not always update after sleep (for example I go to sleep,battery is 50%,when I wake up is still 50%,after I use it 1-2 mins is 45%). I've tried to do a full discharge,charged the phone to full while it was off,booted it then charged it some more,deleted the batterystat.bin . Problem still occurs and it happend on other roms (for example MIUI V5). Any ideas?
