Why isn't it possible to use the HDR+ camera algorithm on the Nexus 4 device, running Android 5?
Guess HDR+ have nothing to do with hardware(?), so why haven't the nexus 4 been updated?

Is there a zip to change DPI? topic

Hi,

Previously, I would edit the build prop to change the DPI on my Nexus however with CM12 nightlies, it is annoying to have to edit it every day. I noticed in CyanDelta that there's an option to flash a zip after updating and I'm wondering whether or not there is (or if I could create) a zip that lowers the DPI.

Is there any way to turn off all future reminders in my calendar? topic

Hey guys. I was at a staff meeting and added a whole bunch of upcoming events on my calendar. I forgot to turn off the automatic 15 min reminder before each event. Is there a way to turn off all those reminders? or do I have to go to each one manually and turn them off.

Also another separate question. If I wanted to receive reminders of my upcoming events on my phone but not on my tablet. Is there a way to do so? Every time I have a reminder it appears on both my phone and tablet which gets annoying. I would still like to see what the event is on my tablet but not have my calender trigger a reminder.

Is there a way to get the dark Tab S menu on the Pro? topic

I was watching a review video to see what the Tab S had over the Tab Pro. On the Tab S the menus are all dark themed and I find the menus on the Tab Pro to be so blinding with that bright white. I'm guessing there is no official way, but I thought maybe someone had made a tweak for it once rooted. I did a quick search though and found nothing.

I got a Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 sm-t530nu for Christmas and I quickly rooted it using the Chainfire method with Odin. I only made backup images after I rooted the Tablet. is there anything I should be aware of that can break my tablet and or screw it up? I am an amateur when it comes to android and I will admit I don't fully understand it. I grew up on Windows and this is quite a large change. I have not been able to find information about any ROMs for kernels that work with the tablet. I have downloaded some apps that have to do with setting the CPU speed and I downloaded greenify and some other things but I have not been able to overclock the CPU at all because I don't have a ROM or kernel that will allow me to. Are there any tweaks that I can do to make this faster? I have changed to read ahead Buffer size and I've got some increase In speedbut that is all I have been able to achieve.

Can anyone recommend some essential apps and maybe some ROMs and kernels that will work for this tablet? Are there any good theme apps to personalize my tablet. As i said before I'm basically lost and feel like I'm out of my element and would love any info anyone can share with me. I have been reading a lot on the forums her but a lot of the content is above my head and i don't have a good understanding of it.

Hopefully you can help point me on the direction to making this tablet more modifiable and I can get a new ROM that allows me more control over my device.

I picked up a used AT&T S3 here in NY because I just installed an Alpine ICS-X7HD in my car. The S3 had the latest NJ1 installed. I was able to root the phone OK. My research has lead me to believe that I won't be able to get any version of Drive Link running on Android 4.4. Research also seems to suggest that I can't go back to the LK3 version either due to boot loader changes made from Samsung and AT&T with the 4.3 update. So I'm looking for advice from the forum experts on what I can do, if anything to get the phone downgraded to a Jelly Bean firmware. I am hoping to hear from someone who has been able to do this before...go from NJ1 to LK3.

I am comfortable using Odin and adb. Let me know if you need any other specific information.

I've got a question regarding the privacy of screens on my android device.
I'd like to lock one screen from viewing. For example: On the left screen there is business related stuff which should not be seen by other people. If you scroll to this screen, it would be nice if there will show up a black window with the message: "This screen is locked. Please enter your password." - After entering the password the screen will unlock itself and you can browse through your files, apps and widgets on this screen.

Are there any tempered glass screen protectors for the Tablet Z? topic

I'm looking around and can only find ones for the Z2 tablet.

Has anyone found one online that they are happy with, or do they even exist? After owning the tablet for a year and a half I was finding the film that's already on there too scratched up and difficult to keep clean so I pulled it off finally. Felt good. Now if I can find a tempered glass protector like the one I'm using on my phone I'd be happy.

As u know when sending message from a phone to another with gsm alphabet coding the other side receive the msg corrupted with questions mark.... my question is I had received a very important message but its corrupted is there any way to make this sms readable? Maybe by encoding decoding or convert to something else???
