Im using the DN4 Rom(4.4.4 kitkat) on my Galaxy s3.

1.Bootanimation Problem.

Hi, Im using the DN4 Rom on my Galaxy s3. Everything Works Fine, Really Smooth, Like its Said. Great Work.*But I Want to change the bootanimation and Im not able to find the bootanimation.zip in the System>media. I can find the new boot audio in the same folder(system>media>audio>ui.) Please help. I have a CWMR. Please Please Plaese. ASAP. Ty In advance

2.Play store problem

I try downloading apps from play store, and it gets stuck in "downloading'. And sometimes it starts and installs, rarely!!
I'm not a pro but,I tried doing everything possible from me to fix this.
Like: ☆ Install different versions of playstore with data and cache wipe.
☆Install different versions of play services with data and cache wipe.
☆Fully wiped the entire phone, even dalvik. and reinstalled DN4. No luck.
☆Google services framework cache and data wipe But can't force stop. (when wiped data+cache, play store couldn't connect to Internet, wi-fi or mobile data)
I did some research and found that it could be the framework problem.
I tried getting help from the official DN4 ROM page, but no luck. :(
Please help me out :(

I found also in the page the information that updating the boeffla kernel using cwm or twrp to this
version would solve the problem about not being possible to charge when phone off, and it worked:

☆2. UPSM Limited apps (cannot add custom apps)

Hey there
I reflashed DN4 ROM without any mod this time. UPSM IS working!
Look at my SS below.
The steps were:
1) Add apps in UPSM Manager app/save/reboot
2) Cleared cache/data in Settings for
EnergencyManagerService, Emergency Provider. Don't clear UPSM Manager app otherwise the apps you added will be deleted!!
3) Activate UPSM and Voilà!
(You can only have 5 apps here)

Problem updating apps from playstore topic

I ve been noticing this weird problem that when i update apps, it just downloads the whole app all over again. For eg; if the app is of 25 mb, it downloads whole 25 mb while its supposed to download only the updated data like 5 mb. Has anyone else noticed this problem? Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello Friends,

I have sorted out playstore downloading problem.
Follow these instructions:fingers-crossed::

• Go to Setting.


• Select APPS


• Proceed to ALL.


• Find out Downloader Manager.


• Select it and click on CLEAR CACHE and CLEAR DATA


• Now go back andd select Google Play Services and Select CLEAR CACHE


• After doing this Go back and select Google Play Store


• Do same with this i.e CLEAR DATA and CLEAR CACHE.


• After Succesufully doing all steps. Reboot your device.


• Allthings will be allright and playstore is working normally.:good:

playstore crashing after installing mod topic

Hello,

Yesterday I've installed modded playstore. It started to crash a lot after this, so I've used my backup of normal app, but it was crashing aswell. I used factory reset altho store keeps crashing anyways.

Do you guys have some idea to fix my problem? thanks in advance
