I hate the screen to the left of my home screen, how can I remove it?

Change Screen Size topic

Hi Guys,
If you wanna be normaly screen size (not original screen size of Htc Desire 510) than download this apk to your phone:

NOMone Resolution Changer (its free)
Open the app and you see
"Width" "Height" "DPI"
Change Width to 720
Change Height to 1280
Change DPI to 312
and click on apply

Or second way:
Open the app
Click on "Select device template"
and choose Motorola Moto X or Htc One X
Click on apply and you done

If you dont like this sizes,dont worry,apk will restore stock sizes after 10 sec and after 1 minutes too.

[Q] LG G2 stuck in Firmware Update Screen (+loop) topic

Hello Guys!

My Problem (I've looked for about 2 hours in the forum, but can't find anything similar to my situation):

Got my new LG G2 (D802, 32GB, Android 4.4.2) today. I wanted CyanogenMod on it, so i unlocked it, etc...

But as i have installed in recovery mode, and after that i always got stuck at the CM 10.2-Boot screen i decided to install the stock android back onto it.

i went into download mode, choose the right .kdz-file and tried to flash it with LG Flash tool 2014.

But it got stuck there at 20%. My current situation: I can't get out of the screen where it says "Firmware upgrade and 0%, und below is "B75" and "rooted". When i press the power button for some seconds the screen gets black, then the LG logo appears and immediately the Firmware-upgrade-screen appears, again with "0%" and "B75" and "rooted".
I also can't get into recovery mode: When it push volume down and power butten, and it asks me to do a factory hard reset and i press the power button to confirm (when normally then the recovery mode menu appears) it changes automatically again to the Firmware-upgrade-screen.

[Q] Constant Black Screen, Need help. topic

I have a constant black screen on my HTC One Mini 2, havnt dont any updates or changes to the system files. It just all of a sudden stopped working, when I press the lock button and press near the bottom of the screen I can fell the vibrations from the lock screen. I cant reboot it as it wont turn off without getting past the lock screen. Can anyone suggest any help? Also could someone link the RUU as I cant find it anywhere, I have been searching for hours and I cant find it.

Home Screen Chrome Shortcuts not working topic

I have 4 shortcuts on my home screen that only work some of the time. If I am using chrome and then I press the Home button to go back to the home screen then tap one of of my shortcuts it switches back to chrome (the last page I was on) but it doesn't load the shortcut from my Home Screen.
If I then close all the chrome tabs and then repeat, the Home Screen shortcuts work fine. Does this happen to anyone else and if so it's there a fix?

i had always the echo app and it was great until last update that F_cked the camera app from the lock screen... try yourselves to open the camera from lock screen it open the camera not in the normal way.. i make foto and it gives me pop up after that to confirm or retry if i press confirm it opens the phone and close the camera app.. and retry delets the photo i shot... i want the normal easy way!! to have shortcut for the camera app the function normal as i open it from the home screen and to have full notification info on the lock screen... (when i get 10 meeseges on what app it will show me everything and not just 4 rigs... ) please does anyone know any good app as that??

Xperia Z3 screen flickering, help topic

I gave my Z3 a little bath in tap water in the sink. It was not submerged so this is more like a shower. I double checked and secure the ports. I don't even use the ports anyway because I have magnetic charging. I dried it and started using it. It was all fine until 5 mins later it just randomly turned off. Battery was good, tried using the power button and it wouldn't work. So I did the power button and volume + method and it fixed it. But the touch screen didn't work sometimes (randomly), there was a blinking red light before I booted it on, and there is rattling near the camera area when i shake it. I ran diagnostics and noticed that my screen was also flickering. Some of the tests used vibration as feedback and this made the flickering worse. Now the screen is struggling to stay lit. It turns on for 3 seconds and then it dies. You can only see parts of it too. I need help. This phone is unusable. I bought this phone (Sony Xperia Z3 D6603 black) from Worldwide Distributors on Amazon.com 3 months ago. I only took it into the water a few times. I don't think its water damage because I had the flaps secured unless Sony gave me a defective phone. I paid 0 for this and I'm not rich either. I was saving up. The phone has the standard 2 year warranty. Somebody please help. what should I do? Will Sony fix it or give me a new one?

I had rooted my MOTO G cdma Boost mobile. it was working fine. Yesterday it got hang and I switched off it by long pressing power button. After that the phone is not switching ON. Rocovery mode is also not working. When tried in recovery mode it is going to a blank screen. normal start up is got stuck in bootloader unlocked screen. Please help me to resolve this..

[Q] Sony Xperia Z1 custom bootanimation not working, black screen topic

Hello. I have Sony Xperia Z1, Android 4.4.4, build number 14.4.A.0.157, unlocked bootloader, dual recovery, stock ROM with 4k video and timeshift video mod and I made my own bootanimation in Adobe Photoshop CC. What I have done:
Animation created in resolution 1920*1080, as Z1´s display resolution.
Animation created in JPEG image sequention (JPEG settings - tried quality 8, 9, 12 with optimalized and standard compressing)
Animation has two parts, first part contains 153 pictures (called part0), I tried making only 99 pics too, second part (called part1) contains one picture that stays until phone succesfully boots. I tried resizing the image to 1280*720 like i found that resolution in Jarvis custom animation and still nothing chnanged.
Animation zipped with WinRAR.
Animation called bootanimation.zip (I have NOT made that mistake with bootanimation.zip.zip)
Animation has 7.67MB zipped, unzipped 11.4MB.
As I read yesterday someone told me I have to make desc.txt file in Notepad++, make it ANSI coded and convert it to UNIX format and make there last blank line. Done
Permissions I tried to set was -rwxrwxrwx and -rw-r--r--

The problem is when I power on the phone it shows me Sony logo, then it vibrates two times (as normally does) and then shows black screen. And then It asks me for PIN etc. and phone is succesfully booted. But why that black screen? I set (I hope) everything good, what I did not tried is change the resolution of all pics to smaller (HD or etc) because original bootanimation is 960x540 and that working Jarvis is 1280*720 (and shows smaller so it looks pretty weird and also with bad framerate so it looks laggy) and i do not tried changing image from JPEG to PNG but original bootanimation is in JPEG as mine so I dont think it will help. Thank you all for your help guys!!! And of course If you liek that and you will solve my problem I can do the same bootanimation for you with your own text but it must have 6 letters as mine :D

Screen Color problem topic

My t-mobile Note 2 SGH-T889 has some screen color issues. I flashed it with a custom kitkat rom. But notice that the white color is little different, its like not bright white.
Not sure if this screen shot will captured it but the colors just don't look right. Is it because of the phone is getting old, it has a yellowish tint on it? Do I need to replace the screen or this is the rom issues?

New splash screen with CM12 topic

I just flashed the new official CM12 nightlies and noticed that the "Powered by android" text in the splash screen is now gone. Was this a deliberate hit at OnePlus by Cyanogen or just coincidence?

[Q] Help - Galaxy Tab 3 Lite screen has a mind of its own! topic

I have had my Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite for just over a month now. Just in the past couple of days the screen has been going haywire. I can set it down and it will just randomly open apps, settings, anything!, without me touching the screen. I have a screen protector on it and have removed it and it still has the same issue even after a good cleaning.

Any ideas on what the problem is?

Strange Line on screen topic

My XT1032 was on GPE 5.0.1 and decided to flash official CM12

I tried to flash but it wont worked (maybe because of the small /system partition idk) so i flashed via Fastboot the 5.0.1 Moto GPT and i was able to flash it


But now i get a weird line on my screen which goes from top to the bottom every boot like in TWRP on 41.18 (5.0.1) Bootloader which only disappear until the next restart when i lock the screen


Is there any solution to remove it permanent or will that happen forever also for next (stock-)roms?

Im a bit confused :/

Hi,

Despite how careful I was with it, I've managed to drop my samsung galaxy s4 and of course crack the screen in two places. Not only this but the lcd screen itself is blackened out in places and won't work.

How much would it cost to have it repaired and do you have a store/website?
