Galaxy Tab 2 7" inch wont charge while turned on topic

HI everyone. I got a weird problem. My galaxy tab 2 wont charge while turned on. It wont even charge while turned off. But it will charge only if I connect with my oneplus one charger. It will only charge if i my tablet is turned off. When i turn on the tablet it wont charge, and a red cross icon appears on top of the battery showing its not charging. Also the charging process is taking a lot of time while the device is charging while turned off. Please help me rectify this problem
