[Q] CWM in the TF701 instructions is for the TF701T topic

Hello,

I am trying to follow the instructions to load a new ROM on my ASUS TF701. One of the steps is to install CWM. When I go to that website to download it, the instructions there speak about the TF701T and the need to have updated to the stock ROM Android 4.3 using the ASUS website. However the 701 is older than the 701T and mine only has Android 4.2.1 . So I am hesitant to attempt to install this CWM version, as the instructions state that the OS needs to be at 4.3 . I cannot get my device to 4.3, as ASUS does not support it anymore.

Someone, please point me in the right direction on this issue, as I don't want to brick my tablet. Thanks much in advance.

Hello. I have read about a couple of different methods to root the TF701. All require a PC running Windows. Any advice or tips on how to root the TF701 with a Macintosh computer? Thank you.

Hello all,
I know this should be in the developer section but I don't have enough posts to put it there. I have a questions about TWRP. I am very familiar with this recovery and I saw that they have the TF700 listed on their site. Has anyone tried the TF700 version of TWRP on the TF701? If so, did it work well?
