[Q] problem backing up whatsapp with adb topic

adb backup com.whatsapp


I am using this command to backup via adb. It gives a 1 kb .ab file.
Please suggest me where i am wrong.

Google Data Back Up is not backing up my current data. topic

During the new phone setup in Lollipop, after flashed new rom, there is an option to restore old settings. Mine said that the last setting it back up is 27 days old. In the last few weeks i've flashed various roms and have setup my device as "new". For some reason it is not updating and backup my current settings and apps.

The 27 days backup settings have apps and settings that i no longer want to use. I like flashing new roms so it be nice to have settings and app back up current. I have tried various things to try to get my phone to update the settings with google but it is not working. Is there a way to force the phone to back up my current setting to google?

[Q] Not Backing Up Apps topic

For some reason when I flash a new rom and go through the setup my Nexus 6 is not on the list of devices from which I can restore apps. I have the setting checked but it still don't work. Any ideas?

[Q] Fastnote cannot write on SD card & ColorNote stopped backing up also on SD card topic

Good day!

I'm using Sony Xperia Z3 and has been playing with note-taking apps Fastnote and Colornote.

Before, ColorNote writes its local backup to both internal and SD card memory (as you can also see on the backup settings it has both icons). But suddenly it stopped backing up on SD card, though it still backs up on internal memery.

Also this happened after I tried changing Fastnote's storage destination from internal to SD card, which while it has been successfully changed, it cannot write note to that new destination (SD card), but it does well on the internal memory.

What do you think guys? Any response will be greatly appreciated.

Backing up & Restoring Samsung Galaxy S2 topic

I recently used Wondershare/MobileGo to back up my samsung galaxy s2 I9100 in order to factory reset it however, I realised after that to restore my phone I need to purchase the program. I am left with a .bak file, how do I use it to restore my phone to how it was before the factory reset?

Can't find efs folder for backing it up in LG P700 topic

I rooted and used es file manager app but the only efs exists is efs.txt
I also tried efs backup app, but it can't find the folder.
Is there something I can do, or there is no need for backup?

Anyone know of an app that will back up all my apps and settings so I can try flashing different rooms without having to read download anything. For some reason titanium backup isn't working
