Hi everyone I am new on the forum as a member but I consult it for a moment ^^.
I certainl not the first who asking that but does anyone know if a dev team is already working on a lollipop touchwiz rom for the I9300 ?

TouchWiz Lollipop Kernels? topic

This is also about kernels in general. So, previously, I tried a "Note 4 Apps mod" meant for the International Galaxy S5 and my System UI crashed. I was wondering if my phone will mess up if I flash a TouchWiz Lollipop kernel from any Galaxy S5 variant – like AT&T's or Sprint's.
Also, getting back to the title of this thread, are there any S5 TouchWiz Lollipop kernels out there? I've been searching for a while but I can't find any other than ktoonsez.

Virtual Navigation Bar for Touchwiz ROMs on Samsung Galaxy Devices topic

This thread will explain how you can get on-screen virtual navigation buttons on any Touchwiz ROM for Samsung Galaxy devices.



Note: The same can also work for any other Android device but results may vary. Supports all droids from Android 4.1 to 4.4.4. You may however experiment after taking a Nandroid backup. :p

Steps:
- Open your file explorer app with root permissions. (E.g. ES File Manager with Root explorer enabled)
- Go to /system
- Open build.prop file.
- Edit the file to add this at the bottom - qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
- Save and exit
- Reboot the device.

Note: Do not disable hardware keys using other mods as they are required in rare instances where an app cannot force immersive mode. Only turn off the 'Touch key light duration' under Display Settings.

How to force immersive mode for apps where navigation bar does not appears:
- Install Xposed
- Download App Settings mod.
- Activate and Reboot
- Open the App Settings and select the app you want to force immersive mode. E.g. Camera app and Select Immersive under Fullscreen option.
- Save settings and launch the app.

Additional goodie: To get Android L style nav bar, use the Xposed mod - 'Lollipop Navigation Bar'

How to port touchwiz roms. Help topic

Hey i want to port a touchwiz ROM and i don't know how to. So any guides to show how touchwiz roms are ported.

I really want to port Samsung's android 5 leak rom to s3. There so many Dev's out there that port S5 and NOTE 4 roms to s3,s4,note2 and
note 3.

I would like to know if it's possible to change the touchwiz default phone application, when clicking on this I would like to launch exdialer search contacts / get dialpad rather than the stock phone application.

Is there any way to do this (rooted or non-rooted)..

My i9195 crashes on every TouchWiz 4.4 rom (logcats) topic

I tried many TouchWiz KitKat roms.

On EVERY TouchWiz 4.4 ROM (except one), my i9195 reboots randomly either few seconds or few minutes after booting. Often, I can't even leave the Language setup page on the first boot before the phone reboots. I those cases I had to flash Brisk v4 kernel and only then I could get sold several minutes before the phone reboots.

I even tried this Xposed module in hope it would help. But it didn't.


This problem never happens on ASOP/CM-based roms (no matter the release) nor it never happens on TouchWiz 4.2 roms. Also, there is only one TouchWiz rom that does not not reboot like motherfecker for me - it is S5 Mini Lollipop Port v1.1 (it did not reboot once during 24hours of heavy use). There is something in it that makes it work different than other KitKat TWs.

My bootloader is I9195XXUAMG6 (without KNOX - my phone never had Knox).

Hallo guys,

i have Successfully ported the Latest Official S5 Touchwiz G900FXXU1BNL9 still having some issues though .
main functions and features of S5 seems that work perfectly ( Spen Aircommands and Spen options are enabled in settings ) its works but it needs some framework-res. editing i have not included all Spen related apps from N3 lollipop for now ! so it just like the n3 lollipop Beautiful speedy except few things need to be fixed im stuck with these things and tried many times without success so if anyone would like to give it a try and play with and fix these issues feel free to download and start fixing maybe this rom could be our daily driver soon

if anyone can fix any issue plz contact me with issue u found and how did u fix it!

some issues what i recognized:
Mobile data keeps auto disconnecting and connecting from it self
slower touch response
cant get recent apps with menu key have tried to keep original usr folder doesnt work . replaced with n3 one also not work:(
Spen not fully working.

EDIT : STRANGE!!! IM CALLING SINCE 5 minutes with different persons without any breaks or any problems . and i have H+ data but its not for always i know as yesterday sometime will disconnecting automatically

Finally I found touchwize with rotation and wallpaper scrolling
test only in gennext kikate suprior 4.4.2 (sm-g7102)
1. backup of your current touchwiz using zipme.apk
(because it make flashable zip)
2. download tochwize given below link

3. after download you need to delet your current touchwiz
use any root explorer
goto system-priv-app-touchwize.apk (delet it)
4.now restart your mobile and goto to cwm/twrp/philz recovery mode
5.select install from zip select the download file(download from above link) from the location where the file is download
then flash it
6.clear cashed partition and dealvik cashed partition
7.reboot
after that you see touchwize is unfortunately stop
so open notifications bar in there there open setting-manage app-all application-touchwize-force stop and clear data
8.doen
note: I am not responsible for any harm or birck of your phone do it own your risk
if someting happen then again flash the backup zip in step1 and you will get back to your old lucher
