I loaded the wrong boot loader on to my 7" kindle fire HD. Now it's dead. No power, nothing. I know some people were trying to find a solution but I haven't found anything. Please help!
Kindle fire hd 8.9 hard-bricked topic
I rooted my kindle and installed a 2nd bootloader and TWRP it worked fine for a few days but then i decided to upgrade my TWRP and i some how corrupted my bootloader and now my kindle is stuck on the boot screen which shows the logo Kindle in White and Fire in Orange it does not go ahead. My pc does not even detect my kindle so I read this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1869297
but i am not able to solve this problem.
It does not go into fastboot.
I tried to upgrade from TWRP 2.6.0.0 to 2.8
I think the problem was that i did not install FireFireFire in my kindle :p
I used usb 3.0 to do all of this.
Please Help

[Q] Kindle Fire HD 7 Bricked After Using KFF Utility topic
I know, I know; It says not to use the Kindle Fire Utility with the 2nd Generation Kindle Fire, but I did. I thought my Kindle Fire was the first generation and as the post says, my Kindle was bricked. However, I can get it into fastboot mode, just cant get it to stay. When I connected it to the PC its fails to install an OMAP4440 driver. It keeps making sounds when you disconnect it and connect your device to the PC. Please help me unbrick my device because I'm a noob to this Kindle business. Thanks for the support!! :)

[Q] Bricked Kindle Fire HD - is it hopeless? topic
In November (just about one week after the warranty was up) the 0++ Kindle Fire HD we bought just stopped working. Amazon basically said sorry, your warranty is up - wanna buy another? (no thanks)
When it's turned on, the Kindle Fire logo appears, then the screen goes black. Nothing else.
We've tried the usual tricks. I bought a fastboot cable and tried the KFHD System.img Recovery Tool and all I get is "device not found." My computer doesn't seem to recognize the device at all.
Is there anything else I can try.... or is it just a lost cause??

[Q] Kindle Fire; used Kindle Fire Utility v0.9.9, Browser & Terminal don't have root. topic
I've got a kindle fire that I rooted and installed android using the Kindle Fire Utility v0.9.9 (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1399889), and SuperSU is supposedly running correctly, but when I run root browser (by JRummy Apps Inc.), it cannot look into the /data/ folder, and trying to "su" on a terminal emulator gives an error. Any suggestions as to what might have gone wrong and/or how to fix it?
Thank you

[Q] help with Kindle fire X43Z60 not booting up topic
I see some similar threads in this forum but nothing that was suggested helps, so I thought I'd create a new question:
I got a kindle fire X43Z60 that is stuck at boot. I was told it had a problem with the charging port that needed to be replaced. I'm assuming after a while a lot of jiggling was needed to charge it and even that stopped working after a while.
I purchased a main board off of ebay, the board was described as from a broken kindle and but was tested and was in working condition. I replaced the old board with the new one but the symptoms are exactly the same. Then I bought a replacement battery off ebay, but new battery did not help either.
I don't have the original charger for the kindle but have multiple micro USB chargers and I assume one of them would work (from Galaxy S4, original nook, others).
The way it looks (with new and old, battery and main board), is that when I press the power button initial "kindle fire" shows up and then disappears. When I press and hold the power button, the "kindle fire" logo disappears, I let the button go, then the logo appears again, disappears for a second and it appears again but now there's this graphical effect rolling over the logo as if it was booting up. At some point after it just powers off abruptly. Occasionally I'm able to boot it up all the way using that method and it would stay on for a minute until a message would appear "are you sure you want to power down" and it would power down without me having a chance to respond. It kind of looks like the battery is drained. When I do boot it up all the way the battery indicator shows it as not nearly drained.
When I hook the kindle up to a PC using USB cable, the initial kindle fire logo just appears and disappears in a loop. I dont see the kindle being visible to the PC.
What else can i try to fix it?

[Q] Kindle HDX 8.9 4th Gen topic
One question, I spoke to customer service on Amazon, They stated the 4th Gen kindles HDX 8.9(2.5 snap dragon) and new HD6 and HD7 models have OTG support enabled....
Is this true? And 3rd Gen (2.2 snapdragon) which I have, it is disabled.
All over the net im seeing disabled all the time.
And I haven't seen anyone here speaking about OTG support at all.

Kindle Fire HD topic
Hi,
i have a kindle fire HD and yesterday i dropped it off the couch onto the floor. Since then the kindle wont load or respond to anything, charging, booting, hard reset (holding power for 60 seconds), plugging it into PC anything.
the only response i can get is when the usb is plugged in, either to the pc or charger, it pops up saying kindle fire for a couple of seconds then completely shuts its self off.
has anyone got any tips or ideas that can help me fix this?
i have tried a few little batch and jar files i have found on this forum and i am about to try one found in a similar forum as suggested when typing this request.
if anyone can help this would be greatly appreciated.
many thanks
Kris

[Q] Kindle FIre HDX Thor soft Brick? topic
So I somehow got Amazon to rollback my device to 13.3.2.5, I then rooted my kindle, put safestrap on it, backed everything up, and installed the Nexus Rom. Now everything was going great, until I saw the CM rom for Kindle FIre HDX. I thought "Hey, everyone loves Cyanogenmod" and on the forum it said it added support for safestrap, but apparently not. I flashed it (AFTER I BACKED EVERYTHING UP.) Then safestrap said "Fail" and it instasntly rebooted. Now My kindle will boot, stay there for around 5 seconds, then turn off and boot again, and bring me to a screen that says "Kindle Fire System Recovery". ADB will not recognize it no mattter what I do, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong, because whenever I'm in command prop in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Android\android-sdk\platform-tools" in CMD and I run "adb shell" it returns "No devices" I would really like to get my kindle back. If worst comes to worst I can send it back to amazon, but it would be easier to see if I can fix it. Thank you for all your answers ahead of time. Oh and please do not tell me to "google it" because that's what I've been doing for the last 4 hours. Thanks!
