[Q] Phone Freezing and Rebooting topic

Hello,

I am having an issue where my phone freezes and reboots. It does not seem to have any rhyme or reason why it is doing. Sometimes it will do it while it is just sitting on my desk doing nothing. When it crashes and reboots it will go into a boot loop showing the LG logo, then black, then showing the LG again. It will cycle through this loop a few times and will boot into the ROM eventually.

I have looked through the whole Q&A thread searching for freezing, auto restart, crashing, etc but have not found a fix for this. I have flashed back to stock with the LG flash tool using the tot and dll files. It started happening right after I got into the stock rom. I have clean flashed various different ROMs as well. It started happening when I was on Cloudy G3 2.1. I then went to the Resurrection Remix Lollipop rom and it happened there as well. I pulled the battery as well following a guide from youtube. Nothing has seemed to fix the issue. I saw a thread about using Ubuntu to push some img files and openrecovery to the phone but I am not sure if that will fix it either since I flashed back to stock.

Does anyone have any ideas or can point me to a thread I might have missed? I have the D800 AT&T model running the Resurrection Remix 1.7 ROM right now.

Hello, do i have really weird problem.

My time just freeze and is different everywhere. Because of that my alarm doesnt even go off.

I thought i screw up something during flashing new FW, but now its doing on every ROM i flash, even STOCK !

So what i did before it started.

I was running Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 6, everything was good, i wanted to try lastest stock ROM, so i flashed 1.17 with FlashTool (i wanted to try camera, if its better) well, but i liked features from 4.4 kitkat, so i rooted with rootkit, via ADB flashed boot.img, installed back Paranoid and boom... clock sudenly freeze everytime, i have tried lolipop CM12 beta3, same thing, flashed to CM11 FXP349... same clock freezing, flashed paranoid 4.6 beta 6, same thing, so i flashed it back to 1.17, but hey, same clock freeze, so i flashed to 1.14, boom same freezing...

I have no idea what to do now, clock just freeze, alarm doesnt work because of that and iam clueless. :(

Galaxy s4 freezing screen problem topic

Hello, i have a gs4 i9505 and i've started to encounter this problem. Everything works normal for a few days than out of nowhere, when i play a video (from youtube, internet, internal memory) it freezes and audio keeps playing, sometimes the screen turn green. And i can't unlock my phone for several minutes. The only solution is to reboot my phone but after some time the problem appears again. What do you think is happening? Also, i should mention that i am on stock firmware ufnc4 and not rooted.

[Q] AOSP Builds keep freezing topic

Hi Guys,

I'm currently in the process of building AOSP to just flash a basic image onto a Nexus 7.

I've done the "repo sync" to get all the relative files, and have initialized the build environment exactly as the tutorials on the Android development site asks, including downloading proprietary drivers, however whenever i'm trying to do my first "make", it either gives me an error saying a random make file received a kill signal, or my machine just freezes.

As of writing this a build has been going for 7 hours (Is this normal?) and the machine just freezes up.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated, i'm unsure of how to try and fix what's happening

So basically I did a factory reset I used this app called super back to have all my text messages backup. Each time I restore my text messages, my messing app freezes.... this is becoming so frustrating.

[Q] Nexus 4 freezing when cell signal is poor topic

Hello,

I have recenly observed that when my Nexus 4 (running stock 5.0.1 Android) is left in an area where cell reception is poor, it would freeze: the power button will no longer turn the phone on, I would need to press it for several seconds to do a hard reset.
Yesterday the notification LED was still blinking when this happened. I have recently replaced the lcd assembly, could this be related? According to an app called Phone Tester, the proximity sensor is working.
Is there a way to make the system store some kind of log that could indicate why the phone became unresponsive? Thank you for all the support in advance.
