[Q] Looking For ROM with good camera topic

I'm looking for some ROM with camera that's better than this stock.

Before I root my phone and install maybe eXistenZ Ultimate | 3.0.0 I need to know if camera (Auto) on this rom is better or some other ROM?
I'm on stock 4.4.4 (10.5.1.A.0.283) With my XPERIA Z (C6603). Pictures on stock camera are awful taken at slightly reduced light. I know pics can be a bit better on manual mode with custom settings but I want to capture my kids without manual settings every time. I'm considering this eXistenZ ROM + Torch boost http://forum.xda-developers.com/cros...ng-z1-t2886705

If nothing, is there some news if sony will fix this problem because I see somewhere that other phones like Samsung have (Sony cam hardware) but pics on samsung are immeasurably better than on xperia Z.

Sending back N6 as N4 seems just as good - CRAZY?? topic

Title says it all: so am I missing something? The n6 just isn't much different in real world use as I have n4 with Nexus 5 experience rom L5.02. The camera is slow and in use over holiday no better than n4. Defaulted to wife's iphone 5s instead.

Screen size is nice and I have big hands, but balance is off and phone too heavy it seems, though was getting used to it.

Nonetheless, called google to return it - going back Monday.

Any thoughts?

Hi all. My question is simple. Is here any good custom rom like Ignorance v5 ? I need good,stable non sense rom . Where everything is working. Now i have Ignorance v5 with 1.2ghz oc. Everything is work fine. But this sense launcher kills my. Phone laggy sometimes. But battery life is awesome like stock. I try holo launcher. Cyanogenmod 10 unofficial port for HOV. But dosen't help. On Cyanogenmod my battery drop 10% on 10 min normal phone usuage . Any proposition which custom I may try?

I'm currently on S5, which needs to go back to warrenty. I consider selling it when it comes back and get an LG G3 instead as I'm severely tired of the damn phone and need root (with unroot possible).

Would it be a good idea getting an LG G3 now to avoid pre-lollipoped phones that may not be rootable right away or won't it matter? I've tried figured this out by searching but it's kind of vague. All I find is warnings against OTA's when rooted.

how good is google restore after factory reset? topic

I've tried the built-in google restore after a factory reset and nothing really happened. No apps were restored not even the system settings.

My question is ,is this normal and if not what would be restored as far as system/user app/data goes.

As we can see in the pictures, the device has a cylindrical shape, which allow the camera to have a better view.

The box includes the remote control however I prefer to use a wireless keyboard with mouse through the USB port and it works perfectly.
Another advantage of the Android operating system is the easy control and manage of the device, it is like another android phone but with the limitations of the tablets without SIMs.

At the moment I am using it as a video player (multimedia contents in my NAS) with Kodi (the new version of XBMC) or video streaming with youtube, Netflix, ipla, etc.

Thanks to the rockchip processor it is really simple to root it, there are different tools which allow you to do that: iroot and/or root_genius.

The CONS points, but don’t forget his low price:

- Microphone doesn’t work or it doesn’t have it.
- Low camera quality
- Small capacity storage for additional applications, however we can always install them in the external storage or NAND flash
- Ethernet port doesn’t work or it is not enable.
- Updates from RockChip or iPPLi


Quick upgrade guide

2.Start the upgrade tool (FactoryTool.exe), change language to English (globe icon)
3.Still in (FactoryTool.exe) load the firmware image file by clicking the Firmware button
4.Plug the AC power adapter to ip.i9
5.Connect the upgrade USB cable (with full USB plugs on both ends) to ip.i9 ONLY!
6.Press and hold the Recovery button (located under the USB OTG port) using a paper clip
7.Connect the upgrade USB cable to PC while still holding the Recovery button, device will now boot into recovery mode
8.Release the button and if you do not have USB drivers installed you will get prompted to install, point to FactoryTool_v1.31/Driver
9.Once the drivers are successfully installed, on the upgrade tool press the RUN button to start flashing the image file
10.Once the upgrade is done the device will boot to finish the upgrade process, disconnect the ip.i9 from PC.

Mine was all time connect to the TV, show I could see the process and when the gadget was booting.

Good U.S. supplier for wifi antenna part? topic

Hi folks,

I was trying to replace the wifi antenna (cable antenna) in my S4 M919, but the part I got from a supplier was the wrong size by about 15 mm too short, and doesn't fit. I'm looking for another supplier, preferably one local in the US so I can get the part quickly. Anybody have suggestions? All I need is the one piece...
