Wireless charging help.. settings and sounds topic

Ok so I got myself a qi wireless receiver for my Galaxy Note 4 910G which works reasonably well.

My issue now is that when I leave the phone on the charger at night and it reaches 100% charge it stops charging for a while and then restarts with the 'do-dip' sound. And that continues all night.

I suspect this happens when the charge spoon below a certain (still very high 99.9x almost 100%) level and it wants to top it up back to 100% as it can do that every 5 minutes or shorter.

Is there a way to tune the charging settings such that

a) it won't make that do-dip 'charging begins' sound of the charge is above say 95% ( just silently tops up the charge)
b) also doesn't turn on the screen in that case

Or alternatively

c) only starts charging again when the charge has dropped below say 90% so it doesn't happen all that often.

Notification sounds on speakerphone even when headphones plugged in topic

Hi I was wondering if there is a setting to prevent notification sounds from going through the speakers while earphones are plugged in.
Notifications sounds are only played through earphones if music is playing but through the speaker when no music is playing.

Thanks!

[Q] S5 Lollipop: Sounds and Notifications - Interruptions - Timeout missing? topic

Hi All,
I've just put Lollipop on my S5 and am getting things back set up how I want them. One such thing I liked was blocking mode (only calls from favourites make a noise during sleep hours). I thought that the Lollipop Priority Interruption and Timeout would do the job (not posting a link because apparently I'm a new user today: support.google.com/nexus/answer/6111295?hl=en) , but I can't see the timeout setting information on the S5. If this something that Samsung have left out, or am I missing something? I've seached today haven't found much discussion of this issue as yet.

If it has been left out is there another way to get at the settings?

This might be push for me to have a look at CM12, I was a long time user of CM11 on my S3...

Grateful for any help!
thanks,
Dave

[Recovery Flashable .zip] Stock Nexus 6 Sounds & Bootimage topic

Hey guys,

Here's a recovery flashable zip for Nexus 6 (a.k.a Shamu). I made this for myself, because I hate the bootimage & sounds included in CM12. I pulled the files from a stock Nexus 6 ROM.
FYI, stock AOSP sounds is different from Nexus 6 sounds (also, the stock sounds in Nexus 5 is also different the ones in Nexus 6)

This will replace EVERYTHING IN /SYSTEM/MEDIA into the stock bootanimation and sounds found in a Nexus 6
Which includes:
• Ringtones
• Notifications
• Alarms
• UI (keyboard sounds, screen un/lock sounds, wirelesscharging, nfc, and a few others…)
• and lastly whatever bootanimation that came bundled with your ROM

Instruction
  1. Copy the attached .zip file into your phone (or if you know what you're doing, you can just sideload it from recovery)

  2. Boot into a custom recovery

  3. Make a backup of your ROM

  4. Flash the attached .zip

  5. ???

  6. PROFIT!

The standard disclaimer of flashingallthingsfromXDA applies (I'm not responsible if your phone blows up, bricked, melts, and possibly many other horrible things).
