I was trying to flash cyanogenmod 12 on my moto g xt 1032 and it is stuck on the boot animation.

does anyone know how to unbrick it?

[Q] Can't change my boot animation topic

Hello! I've been trying for a very, very long time to change my boot animation. I've tried a lot of stuff, and none of it works. I've tried changing the bootanimation.zip, hTC_one_boot_up.zip, I've tried flashing a bootanimation.zip, nothing works. Can someone walk me through some steps to take to change it, and then listen to me to see if it works or not? I'd appreciate it.

Please bear in mind, although I've rooted it and all that jazz, I have a very rudimentary knowledge of my phone. So be careful about terms and such, as I might not understand everything.

Hey guys, first time poster here. I used cwm to flash a lollipop ROM coming from PA 4.6, and as the title says, the boot animation won't load. I've tried hard-resetting with no success. Help?

[Q] Boot animation - HELP! topic

I really want the lollipop boot animation. I downloaded it from online, and installed it. I have used boot animations before, and have never had a problem. Anyways, when I rebooted it showed a black screen until I booted up (I have had this before, it means that the current boot animation is flawed or incorrect). I unzipped the bootanimation, and saw that it was one of those wacky types that have 2 mp4s and the desc.txt is 0 1 1 0. I knew that my moto g 2nd gen couldn't read mp4s, so I downloaded another boot animation that worked with my phone, converted the mp4s from the lollipop boot animation into .gifs, used another software to turn those .gifs into boot animations, then took out all the pics and put them in the other bootanimation, and coded the desc.txt according to my changes. I reboot, and (Surprise!) it didn't work. I unzipped it again, and realised that the images all had an X before them, so the first was X00000, X00001, and so on. I renamed all 314 pictures to how they should be, and installed. Rebooted. It didn't work again. I have done all I can think of, and need help. Please take a look at the bootanimation attatched, and please tell me if my coding or pictures are flawed, and how to fix it. Thanks!

I really like the full screen animation when my Note 4 charges (with the phone completely off). Im curious if there is any way to see the same animation (or something similar) with the phone on. I tried searching for a way to do this; but didn't have any luck.

[Q] Maxx stuck on boot animation topic

So, i ordered a new Droid Turbo yesterday morning and last night my Maxx completely crapped out on me for no apparent reason.
it just rebooted randomly and now won't get past the red droid circle. rebooted it many times, went into recovery and cleared cache... i'd rather not lose the several days of text messages since my last backup.

I've got plenty of time and feel determined to fix this. anyone got any suggestions? adb isn't loading during the boot sequence.
can i use something to flash /system without flashing /data to see if that helps? i stopped looking at flashing things once i got this phone so i am pretty unaware if there is a process.

Since my new phone arrives today i really see no reason to wipe this one. I'd rather just mess around with it to see if i can fix it. Anyone have any ideas?

my nexus 5 is stuck in the boot animation screen. i dont have the usb debugging enabled on it. i tried to wipe cache and do a factory reset but both didnot work. i am getting error messages

E: failed to mount /cache (invalid argument)
E: cant mount /cache/recovery/log
E: cant open /cache/recovery/log

(the two I saw in the directory [/system/customize/] ).

Can anyone tell the correct file name?

I've set my 3 options for animations to 1.5x and the overall animations seem a lot smoother, what impact does this have on performance/battery? Is it better to adjust other settings in dev options to make the device run smoother?

Phone stuck on boot animation, won't sideload topic

I unrooted phone to update to Android 5.0.1
Wiped data & cache and tried to reboot but phone won't load past boot animation
I have tried everything I can find online. Phone appears in Device Manager as Android Device, but does not connect to PC when in command prompt.
adb devices shows no devices
when I start phone in fastboot, then recovery mode, I can select to install a file via ADB
when I choose this, and run adb devices in command prompt, it then shows a sideload device
but when I go to load a file, it gives me the same error every time:
E:footer is wrong
E:signature verification failed

Is there anything I can do? Please help! Thanks.
