[Q] Please help, Asus TF101 bricked? topic

Hi,
I need to get a recovery or new rom installed.... but ive run into some problems.
I'm really hoping that somebody could help, I've got a Asus TF101 that won't boot past the asus screen.
I can get into apx mode, but I dont think that helps me as I'm pretty sure mines an SBK2 (serial C30)
I have CWM installed, which I installed using Rom Manager, it seems to be faulty, It wont mount sd card or successfully wipe data / factory reset. which is where my problems started.

any help getting this thing back online asap would be greatly appreciated. Its not mine, was doing a favor for a friend.

[Q] Asus Zenfone 4 not getting ota update topic

HI. Devs Since the last update (6.5.35) I'm not getting any ota update and I tried the manual way of updating process. It doesn't update . I unrooted my zenfone 4 and I'm on pure stock rom.
Tried updating with full ROM from Asus website but I'm still not able to update .I want to update my phone to 6.6.3 firmware Verison. But I'm not able to. Please some one tell me where an I going wrong? What could cause my phone not update I ever did a factory reset before and after . but I'm in no luck . please help me figure of this problem whats causing my phone not get update. Please help me.:confused::confused:

Guys I have an Asus Memo Pad HD 7 8GB

Model number : ME173x
Android version : 4.2.2
Kernal Version : 3.4.5

I have this problem with my tablet is that it freezes with a white screen randomly when i am working. It happen when I am playing games, listening to music, and sometime when I am just sliding through the menu. I tried hard resetting and deleting he cache as mentioned as some fixes for this problem. But it keeps happening.

# and I encountered another problem. When I go to the recovery mode, I see the Android bot lying with the chest open saying 'no command'.

I looked at some guides and tried to install a custom ROM. I successfully rooted my device. BUT no matter how I follow the tutorials I can't continue from there. I don't know how to install CWM to my device ....
can anyone pleas help me to do this ?
I tried a lot of tutorials ... some recommended using ROM MAnager. But it says my device doesn't have a compatible CWM version.
I tried copying CWM.img file to the SD card and boot via recovery mode ... but then again the bot laying with the chest open pops up ...

Asus Zenwatch Battery Saving Tips? topic

Hey everyone, I've noticed that the Asus Zenwatch has very quick battery drainage, for me at least. I don't have any apps installed on it, and the watch face I have isn't too intense. Anyways, I was wondering if anybody had some tips for me on how to conserve battery for the watch.

P.S. I have stay awake disabled, brightness all the way down, and some other common battery saving tips.

Asus virtual keyboard problem with Clash of Clans topic

I'm gonna throw a curve ball out there and explain a problem I have always had with the Asus Padfone X Mini. Every time I play Clash of Clans, addicting game btw...I attempt to use my Asus keyboard and it disappears after it pops up for a second. Other times I can write a couple sentences before it disappears, almost like it is crashing due to insufficient memory. However, it will pop back up after 10 seconds or so. I tried other virtual keyboards same results. I went into 3C Tools and gave the Asus keyboard high priority and problem persists. I've also had problems with Contacts not responding when playing Clash of Clans. I have cleaned my phone the best I can from bloatware and any apps that run in the background that take more then their fair share of resources. Still, problem persists. It only happens in Clash of Clans though. However, my wife plays it too with her SGS4 and has no problems. I play it on my rooted Cyanogen rom Nook Tablet and no problems. BTW, this even happened before root. I thought it was just insufficient memory problems and it was what it was until I could get root and remove all the crap. But still, it seems better but the problem still happens. Would anyone be willing to download Clash of Clans on their padfone X mini, try typing for a couple minutes and see if it happens to them? Maybe some advise?

Repeatedly Vibrating on Charge - Asus Zenfone 5 topic

I've experienced this twice already.

My Asus Zenfone 5 repeatedly vibrates over and over again on charge. I usually fix this by removing the charger and putting it back again repeatedly until my phone charges normally again.

What would happen when the vibration starts?
-The charge signal will go on and off together with the vibration.

is this a defective phone?

They crash every day. Many apps crash and says 'incompatible'. These issues are probably what the previous owner sold it. Anyway its in great condition (like new) and I want to get it back to stock. Been reading forum since Christmas and learned a lot but i'm wanting to know-
Can I clone my daughters tablet and flash it to my tablet? Make an image similar to what you can do to Windows on a PC. Don't know if this is possible? If it is how to do it? If not how do I flash it back to a stock ROM?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Asus Zenfone Zoom Galaxy Note 4 LTE-A topic

I'm not sure which to buy in future and my contract runs out in August...
Now about my trouble... I love the S-Pen of the note and the crisp OLED display but i need a camera for food shots also in low light conditions
Each phone has its own highlights.

- the optical zoom, dual LED flash light and this lowlight brightening + HDR

I don't know which to buy because I'm not aware oft the camera quality of the zoom.

ASUS ZenWatch (can someone test my app?) topic

Hi :)

I am getting reports that my app (Krona Sunlight) is crashing in ambient mode on the ASUS ZenWatch. The watch is not available in Germany and I cannot reproduce this issue with any other watch or the emulator. Word is that once the watch is turning ambient, the watch face crashes and defaults back to a standard watch face as soon as it comes back to interactive mode.

Hello everyone. Yesterday I briked my Memo Pad HD 7. I wanted to install cwm recovery, but this thing it's doesn't worked how I waited me.Right now my tablet remain locked at asus logo. I tryed to reflash the firmware with SP Flash Tool but we failed. This is the first tine I connected my tablet to laptop, possible the driver doesn't instaled corectly.
Somebody cam help my with some opinion?

Hello all.

I'm on this ROM:

Asus Stock Modded Odex/Deodexed ROM - 11.4.1.27 KK 4.4.2

I have installed the new Factory Recovery and try'd to install the new Asus ROM that I downloaded From Asus Site directly.
But when the tablem starts to install the ROM, it stops past 1 minute with one error message and then whem I force reboot the tablet,
It boots normaly but when it finishes booting a get a message saying error 12 and the update was not installed.
I try's more then 5 times install the firmware this way.
How can I get back to factory FW?

Just got myself an Asus TF103C and have been looking at other posts here like http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...t2802995/page5
which helped me to root it.
However I have been reading elsewhere that perhaps a custom Lollipop ROM would help things work a bit smoother.
I have found a couple of pages which claim to outline a method taken from the pages of XDA (although I am so far unable to find it on here) and linking to file downloads that seem a bit suspect:
