[Q] remove second signal icon on mtk6592 topic

hi there,

i am new in cooking roms and i have a problem with the second gsm icon. i have a doogee dagger dg550 mtk6592 dual sim handy and i want to remove the second item if there is no second sim card inserted. i found a lot guides but no one fits for my problem. so i found another rom in which the icon is disabled (Lakandroid). i copied the SystemUI.apk out there and pasted it in my rom. this removed the icon but parts of the statusbar changed to yellow... :confused:

i didnt know where the the difference between the two versions is. there exactly for the same device (display is in xhdmi-format). can soneone help me please to find the error? i added the two SystemUI.apk's to the thread. SystemUIdani is my file and SystemUIlankan is the file from the other rom without the icon.

[Q] How do I update my second hand HTC One M8? topic

Bricked my old 16gb HTC One M8 - sending to HTC for repair tomorrow.

Ordered a replacement 32gb HTC One M8 from Hong Kong. It was billed as 'new' but on arrival it appears to be S-OFF but locked. Full bootloader details below:

Whenever I try to update OTA, it tells me my phone is not stock and the update doesn't install. I just want to get the phone back to stock with the latest OTA firmware, nothing more. What would my best course of action be here?

LCD working only for second at start topic

Hello,
At first sorry for my poor English, i hope You will understand me ;)

I have a problem with my Samsung S4 I9505. When i'm trying to start up phone, LCD shows image only for half a second, like flash. After that it's black, but phone start up normally, touch works, vibration too.

I tried factory reset, it didn't change anything. I also tried new software by Odin, it didn't changed anything.
I also dissasemblied phone and cleaned a plug and a socket from lcd, but LCD is still black.

There's something weird with it, because when phone is working and i pull out battery, LCD shows image for half a second like when the phone is starting.

Phone have never dropped, wasn't flooded etc. It looks like new one ;)

I think it's some hardware failure, but it would be good to be sure what part i have to buy.
