Mobile Data Not Working After Root topic

I just rooted my Nexus 6 the other day and since then my data hasn't been working no matter what ROM I flash. I even went back to the backup of the stock ROM and the data still isn't working. I have T-Mobile. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have Lollipop 5.0 installed on my device but somehow there are modifications in the firmware dir.

Will re-fastbooting it with stock 5.0 and removing the -w make me stock without deleting anything?

I searched everywhere to find about how to fix this problem, but i only found people with the same problem who don't know how to solve it. Can someone help me with it? Hello everyone, I've just updated my G2 2014 to Lollipop (5.0.2) and I was wondering if is it possible to enable 3g data from the quick setting with just one touche, like the wi-fi does.
It seems incredible to me that all the other settings can be activated or deactivated with just one touch, except for the 3g data.

[Q] Problems with mobile data topic

Hello,

I am a happy user of the OnePlus One phone. Everything works really well, except mobile data works in a funny way.
Whenever i am on wi-fi, it all works well. But when I turn mobile data on, it only loads several apps like whatsapp, viber, instagram, facebook messenger and I guess thats it. Google Chrome doesnt load, facebook app doesnt load at all and all other apps dont load. I thought it might have been a SIM-card problem, however today i received a new one - no change. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks in advance

[Q] Samsung Galaxy s 4 issue with mobile data topic

recently my samsung galaxy s 4 on the carrier US Cellular and running the stock android version 4.4.2 has stopped communicating with 4g lte. It will show that there is a 4 g lte connection but will not connect to facebook messanger or do anything internet related. It will occasionally drop to 3g and work fine or drop connection all together.

In my attempts and large amount of research to fix this problem i have done the following:
1. Turned on and off airplane mode
2 restarted the phone
3. Replaced SIM card with a new one
4. Factory reset my phone
5. Erased application cache in the recovery mode
6. I have also tried to change the network mode and yes mobile data is turned on.

Please help. Us cellular is just telling me to buy a new phone that i cant afford because they dont know whats wrong and samsung is saying the same thing. ***Also it is not a rooted phone*****

hey peeps, i need help on something. I flashed Omega rom for my galaxy note 3 and after reboot it wont connect to my 4gLTE network. The wifi works fine as well as everything else about my phone except that. Ive searched everywhere for answers but i dont seem to have any luck. Ive flashed a stock kernel thinking maybe it had something to do with it but it didnt help either. In my settings, it says service state in service but mobile network state disconnected. If any one can help me, PLEASE do. Thanks!!!

[Q] General Mobile Data Issue, Baseband Problem? topic

Hi at all.
This is my first Post, but i cant get any further with my Problem.
I used to have cm11 on my I9305 (T-Mobile Germany), everything worked fine (more or less).
Last Month from one day to another my Baseband completely disappeared without any obvious reason.
Luckily I had a Backup that worked with unofficial cm12 rom.
After that nearly everything worked.
Now, since 2 Days i got a new Problem. Everywhere where I got 4G, my Mobile Data work. But in Areas where I only got H+, 3G, Edge,
I have to switch my preferred connection to 2G, else my Data wont work. Sometimes for Seconds i see the 3G Logo, light up the Status Bar.
But I got no Connection.
The Strange Thing is, that when I call Someone, during the Call, the H+ Connection seems to work, but after the Call, it disappears.

And my WLAN Connection works only after every reboot (Connects, but no Internet, Also very disappointing)

Things I did yet:
-Flashed various Modems for I9305,
-Flashed different Roms (CM11, Nameless Rom, Resurrection Remix)
-Smashed the d*mn thing against the Wall ;):angel:

Information from my Phone:
-Baseband Version: I9305XXALK2
-Mobile Network Type: UMTS (it shows that, but no connection)
-Mobile Network State: Disconnected
-IP: Unavailable

Has anyone encountered a similar Issue, or a Solution?
Could it be a Hardware Problem?

Real Racing 3 save data topic

I am facing a problem on my moto g xt1033 where I need to do a complete factory reset of my phone before I can flash the lollipop update. I have Fifa15 an Real Racing 3 installed on my phone. I have backed up apk files for both. However, in android/obb folder I only have the Fifa15 folder and Real Racing 3 folder is inside Android/data. I am unable to find the obb folder for real racing 3. Can someone plz tell me how do I search the obb folder n transfer it to my pc as I don't wanna loose my 8 months of gameplay.

Bell - Lollipop - no mobile data topic

So far I've got nearly everything working in it - gps, battery life, audio...etc - except for mobile data.

I've set my APN and everything, but data only works on WIFI and I can only make calls and receive texts while on 3G/LTE.

I'm with Bell is that makes a difference.

Any ideas on what I can try to solve the problem?

Or are there any other Lollipop Roms working for my fellow Bell Note 2 owners?

Throughout the day my data connection stops working even though it says it's connected in the status bar. If I toggle airplane mode everything returns to normal. Any idea what's wrong and how to fix it? I've reflashed a kernel, I wiped cache and dalvik, and I fixed permissions. I'm on DynamicKat and AEL kernel. Thanks for your help.

Hi, i've Paranoid Android on my gnex and I don't know why but it restarts continuously. Than I decided to do a factory reset from recovery (latest cwm) but when I reboot from recovery after a "successfully" wipe, my data are there!

Rooting S4 with Odin without wiping user data topic

Help needed - I have accidentally deleted the entire gallery of my S4, and with S4 running KitKat 4.4.2 build XXUGNI1

I tried all the one click solutions to try to prevent any over writing of the storage but none of them, including tower root, seems to work on this build.

Is there any other way to try? I am thinking of changing to a custom Rom and load it via Odin - is there any way it can be done without overwriting user data?

Data Services not working properly. topic

I don't know if anyone else is facing this problem or not but i've spotted this issue in my Mi3. Neither 3G nor 2G works properly on my MI3. In 3G the network keeps shuffling between H and H+. When the indicator turns H+, i can surf the internet and when it turns H, i can't. I tried the same sim in my Xperia ZL and 3G worked like a charm. No disconnection at all.
Tried using 2G and facing the same issue. It'll work fine for say a minute or 2, and then the indicator shows the up arrow (data sending) and there is no down arrow( data receiving).
If anyone has any suggestions please do share.

[Q] Restore data wiped during flash? topic

(Galaxy SIII currently running CM 10.2.1)

I'm very very new to flashing ROMs. I tried switching to CM 10.2.1 from stock yesterday, and I thought I had backed up with the TWRP recovery page, but I think I have wiped it during the process. I have none of my my sms, call log, or contacts, and none are in my Gmail.

I do however have a .twrps file. Is there anything at all that I can do to at least restore my contacts? I've tried a few of the solutions posted here but I hadn't used an app for backup and the adb directions are really vague, although I'm continuing to work on it.

Any and all help would be much appreciated! Thanks.
