[Q] Help!! Have 16GB Nook Tablet and want to get Android OS without rooting....... topic

Hello everyone I am pretty much as noob as it gets when it comes to rooting, dual boot Roms and such. I have a BNTV250 16GB Nook Tablet and I would like to be able to use an 8GB MicroSD card to put the Android OS on so I can have Google Play store and access to all the free apps I love that just aren't available in stock Nook Tablet app store. I would prefer to not have to root as I am worried I would end up bricking, and I don't have the to spend to buy an N2A or AFN card. Is there someone that could point me to a guide on creating my own N2A card or same idea? Because I already have the MicroSD card and I know there are free programs out there to do it. Help please? So I got a Note 3 as a gift - only issue is I'm on ATT and its a VZ phone. I am somewhat familiar with flashing phones (running an S3 with JB on it atm) but I couldn't make sense of how to turn a Verizon Note 3 into an AT&T Note 3 even after digging through these forums.

I popped in my ATT sim and did a factory reset and I could call / text people just fine, but I want all the Verizon stuff gone. No splash screen on start or anything.... and preferably a custom rom. How can I do this?

I installed towelroot, and superuser access - I tried installing safestrap but when I hit "reboot recovery" it doesn't reboot into it, it just goes black (have to pull the battery and reboot it). When I boot into recovery it still boots my stock recovery. Can I just hit "apply update" in my stock recovery and install an ATT rom? Are there "neutral" (I heard them called international) roms?

Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks! :)

To make a long story short, I messed up my phone to a soft brick, revived it, and am now trying to get it back to near normal. I am currently running 6.09.401.12 odex rom by mike1986 on my at&t htc one m7. Question is, is it possible to get an ota update by downgrading my rom to an at&t rom lower than 5.12.502.2? And then get an OTA update? As an aside, on mike's rom (for international htc one) the gps takes a very long time to lock and only shows a blue dot on google maps/no compass mode. Dont know if this has to do with different type of rom or not. So how can I get back to stock while being S-ON? And I accidentally deleted my nandroids while wiping my pc (I know really stupid :P I did not flash a new radio/using stock radio. Here is output of system getvar:

[Q] Want expert, someone who has grip in troubleshooting the LG optimus topic

I am having a different and unique problem with my LG optimus f180. I was using a rooted firmware of f180, and then I updated the rom by following the procedure given in this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2786769. the update went successful. But when i tried the same update in my another lg f180 which was also rooted, it started showing me issues like, it does not detect the network of sim which i was already using in that mobile and shows "emergency calls only - Mobilink" (Mobilink is the name of network). whereas when i change the sim it detects the network and everything works perfect except the messages outgoing, which keeps trying sending message and ends by showing that sending failed and when I send message and instantly connect a call then it sends message only during call...
Kindly anyone who can figure out whats the solution for this, must help me. m really tensed at its behaviour. whereas i tried to restore the old rom and still it shows the same behaviour. :eek:

Im from tamilnadu.. 3days before local police took my cell phone for an enquiry, it was galaxy grand 2... my phone was pattern locked and i took the sim card and memory card from the phone before handling to them... i got back my phone yesterday, i was shocked to see. on my notification panel that 210 files were sent via bluetooth and the bluetooth was still turned on.. those 210 files were my wats app and fb photos.. when i opened the bluetooth menu i got that police guys phone model was in the bluetooth menu with an weird symbol show something... the bluetooth symbol with internet acess symbol... the photo attached... plz experts i wannna know how they intruded my phone......

Hi, i have note 3 sm n9005 or something and rooted my phone for some stupid reason, its still on stock the only thing that i think happened was i have supersu, i paniced and factory reset, now supersu has a error thing with something to do with binary settings or something.
