I've reflashed the 5.0.1 stock image. When I boot into bootloader and then go to recover mode all I see is a green and red guy like crossed out. Is this normal or was my stock recovery not flashed properly? I want my phone to be back to its original state.

i had always the echo app and it was great until last update that F_cked the camera app from the lock screen... try yourselves to open the camera from lock screen it open the camera not in the normal way.. i make foto and it gives me pop up after that to confirm or retry if i press confirm it opens the phone and close the camera app.. and retry delets the photo i shot... i want the normal easy way!! to have shortcut for the camera app the function normal as i open it from the home screen and to have full notification info on the lock screen... (when i get 10 meeseges on what app it will show me everything and not just 4 rigs... ) please does anyone know any good app as that??

Help phone call not working if in normal mode topic

I'm using eXistenz Ultimate 3.00. I cannot make phone calls normally. When i call, the call goes through but i cant hear the recipient nor can they hear me. However, when i turn it into speaker mode, i can hear them fine. I suspect its something to do with one of the settings as when i reset my phone and reinstalled the rom, it worked. But once i fiddled with the settings something went wrong. I don't know which setting is causing the problem or even if the settings are the problem. Please help

Hi XDA! Happy 2015!

I was given an A13 for Xmas. After exploring, everything works fine. I decided to look at it's Recovery, in case I should ever need it. It was then I discovered that, in Recovery, the Vol +/- button fails to function!
When booted into Recovery, the top option, "reboot system now", is highlighted. Vol +/- doesn't move the highlight; thereby excluding me from selecting any other option-
apply update from ABD/ wipe data/ factory reset/ wipe cache partition/ apply update from internal storage/ apply update from external storage/ apply update from cache.
Also, in Recovery mode, there is a line at the bottom of the screen (written in gold colour) saying "E:fopen error /data/miraGSensorOffset.txt".

So, after the supplier refused to help, (I cannot supply them with the order id no.), I have reasoned the problem to be a software issue (as the Vol. button works in Normal mode but not Recovery).

I've decided to root & flash it myself; (I admit that I will have to learn this as I go, as I've only done my Wildfire S & what an experience that was!).

Root checker app says it's not rooted. Before I start though, I know at some point I will probably need to able to boot to Recovery whilst the tablet is off. The issue here is Vol +/- fails when the tablet is off; it powers on normal mode every time, so Recovery can only be reached by: Power on> Settings> Backup & reset> Recovery mode ("Reboot into the system in Recovery Mode. Can clear the data or system upgrade").

Is root & flash the correct approach? And if yes, what about the inability to reach Recovery WITHOUT powering on? Will this not become an issue?

I'm on 4.4.4 (167) unrooted, 100% stock, flashed through fastboot.

Please help - Samsung Tab 10.1 booting to recovery and download mode only - no normal topic

Hey guys hope someone can point me to the right direction or knows this problem:

Galaxy Tab 10.1 Wifi (P5110).

Device will only boot recovery no matter what. (both with stock or custom recovery AND stock or custom rom installed - tried all combinations already)

Stock rom has been installed with odin and pit-repartition has also been tried.

When I turn on the tablet it boots straight to recovery. On stock recovery it says something about update, then "no command" and when I then choose reboot system, it says error and powers the device off.

Please help.

[Q] Rattling sound coming from speaker — is this normal? topic

I'm noticing a rattling sound coming from my Nexus 6 when the sound is at a high volume, and something percussive (like piano music) is playing.

I put up a video on Youtube as an example, but unfortunately the forum software won't let me post a link. However, you can view the video by pasting "/watch?v=0lEw9zd2BCI" on the end of YouTube's URL.

As a point of comparison, I also tested my old Galaxy S III, which despite being almost three years old, doesn't have as much noise as the Nexus 6's speaker (although it does have a small amount).

I'm also hearing a rattle with the default alarm tone. Is anyone else seeing this, and is it worth RMAing over?

My phone suddenly turn off and now it keep bootloop EVEN IN FASTBOOT. I cant even go into recovery or either fastboot.
I still remember before the restart occur my battery left 70++ until it bootloop till no 0 battery . till now cant even charge enter recovery even in fastboot USB mode. it just keep bootlooping .

Cannot Install CM11 Stable with Semaphore KK. Only with Semaphore "normal". Why? topic

Dear All,

It seems that i cannot install cm-11-20141112-SNAPSHOT-M12-galaxysmtd with semaphore Semaphore_KK_3.4.3s. I can only install it with Semaphore_2.7.4.
I do not understand because CM11 is a KK rom, correct? So why a KK kernel cannot work? I do not understand that...

Please give me advice

So I do know that Sony Xperia E1 has only 512MB RAM and you can not expect more from this device but in my case free RAM is only aroyn 38 MB. It shows more than 100MB using Clean Master on widget, probably the app is the app is lying.

So is it normal? Any tips on freeing up some RAM on my device?
