[Q] [A700] Bad performance on all ROMs, apparently only 1 core used most of the time topic

Hey there,
so i have been trying to get my girlfriends A700 on a modern version of Android, but so far stuff like Omni ROM or Pacman ROM had REALLY bad performance. I'm talking about 7-12 fps in the launcher and most other apps, which to me is unbearable. Today i was experimenting with kernel settings, and for this activated the CPU usage overlay.

It showed that 90% of the time only CPU0 is used and all other cores are deactivated and idle. I'm not sure if this is intended behaviour, but in combination with the choppy performance it's kind of suspicious to me.

So basically i have 2 questions:

1) Are all the Android 4.2 and up custom ROMs just really slow, or is there something wrong on my gfs device?
2) Should the device be running on one core all the time?

I think to found the problem that is the cause of battery drain.
I just asked you help to it, but watching with Battery Doctor i think that the cause is the second cpu core that is often at 1600-1700 mhz.
With app like Set Cpu i just tried to set the max frequency to 810-1024 ecc.. but it has effect only for the firts cpu.

How can i stop the second cpu ?
I am using S5 Proyect ROM with BrisK kernel 3.4.0

Does it have way to overclock core 0 (first core) to 1.7 ghz - 281 ghz, and core 1 (second core) maximum clock to be 1/1.2 ghz, like
S4's octa core? first core maximum clock to be 1.7 ghz, and second core maximum clock 1,2 ghz?

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Core 2 (SM-G355H) HD Video Recording topic

Hi, I recently bought this phone and I was wondering if there is any possibility to record video at hd resolutions (720p, 1080p, etc)

I tried editing media_profiles.xml but I noticed no changes at the camera apk, I even tried using other devices profiles and other camera's apk without success. LgCamera and CM camera show the HD option, 1080p and 720p respectively but both freeze when I select the options.

I was thinking there's a missing lib or something like that to allow me to these resolutions. Any ideas?
