[Q] Lg G2 Brick Security Error Bootloop No recovery, No download, PC don't recognize topic

Hello everyone !

I have big troubles with my Lg g2 d802.

Yesterday i want to intall crdroid 5.0 on my Lg g2 on Official 4.4.2, so i've:

• Root my phone


• Install CWM Manager


• Set CWM Recovery


• Reboot in recovery


• Use ADB Mode


• Use ADB on my PC to send crDroid zip by sideload

During sideload, after full download, there was an error assert failed. So installation failed, and i've decided to reboot my phone.
Problem is here, my phone boot, display LG Logo and after 5 seconds, Lg Logo with "security error" message, then stop alone and reboot again, and again.

I have tried following procedures :

• Power off completely my phone and then Volume down+PWR to enter in recovery : FAIL


• Volume Up and then put USB cable to enter download mode : FAIL


• Connect with USB on Ubuntu to try to reset .img files : FAIL (Phone invisible on my pc, even not recognize)

So i cannot go to Recovery Mode, Download Mode and my phone isn't recognize on PC.
I don't have any other ideas and i am here to asking help :).

Chromecast and security topic

I am involved in a project that will potentially utilise Chromecasts out in the field.

Our main concern is that if the CC is attached to a publicly accessible WiFi AP, it can be tampered with, and inappropriate material cast to it.

Of course, we can create a private WiFi AP to use for the sole purpose of the CC, which is an acceptable solution.

But I'd like to know if there are other options available. I have seen there is a CC "ROM" that can be flashed to the device to replace the original firmware. Does this new firmware include any added security, or indeed offer the possibility to add extra security?

[Q] LG G2 - Security Error - Unable to do anything at all topic

Hello,

I tried installing Android Lollipop on my LG G2 D802 model and now my phone is totally stuck in the boot. At first it shows the LG logo and then it show the LG logo and the text "Security Error" underneath. I think I've tried all combinations of "button-holding" during startup but I'm not able to access the recovery mode (or any other mode). I've tried hooking it up with the computer (Windows 8.1) but it doesn't seem to see it.

I'm pretty embarrassed by the whole situation :silly: so any help/guidance would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Avast is showing Virus in Security core app topic

My avast is detecting virus in the Security core app.This is preinstalled on Indian Miui ROM as well as Chinese Miui ROM .

Avast will not detect it untill its not on sdcard.Just move this app in your sdcard and WAIT...
