[Q] problem in mtk droid tools topic

earlier I had jb 4.2.2 on which mtk worked
great. recently I updated to kk 4.4.2 on
mt6572 device.
I took backup of stock ROM with spft and
processed ROM with mtk DT and it states an
error in boot image the error is below
kernel 3470360
rootfs 833961
error :no find kernelGZ
error :no split boot image
task is complete
why this error is there even I had stock
boot.IMG?
kernel version is 3.4.67 fuchangle
I tried my old jb patched boot.IMG by mtk
it doesn't boot on kk 4.4.2 pls help
I can share my boot.img if you wish
pls reply as soon as possible

I recently purchased a droid 4 and it is unlocked and rooted. ive been to Verizon and they said I could not use a gsm carrier even tho it has gsm and global along with cdma option. I was just wondering if theyre putting me on or if theres another way around it. any info would be greatly appreciated. ive heard of flashing bionic and it might work. thanks ereone.

[Q] Unlocked Droid Razr M XT907 VZW Reboots topic

Greetings.

Just this past week I was able to unlock the bootloader on my XT907 Droid Razr M. I've been able to use both recovery tools, CWM and TWRP. I'm also able to use RSD Lite to SBF to both the JB and KK with out running into problems. So then I decided to try the older CM 10.1.3 ROM, on JB bootloader, and I was able to get it to boot successfully, but my wifi was broken. So I SBF'd back to the KK BL, installed TWRP, did a factory wipe and installed CM 11 and the appropriate GAPPS. The phone booted up and I was able to click next through a few menus, then the phone rebooted. The same thing happened, it would reboot and I'd click through the 1st few screens and it would reboot. I tried the PacMan rom and it did the same thing. Each time I'd factory reset/restore and flash a rom. Does anybody have some ideas that I might be missing?

I have tried to root my tablet what I bought from dealextreme. Geniusroot,iroot,MTK tools etc..

Now I installed MTK tool and Is it seems that I dont have quad-core..

Is there enythink that I can do to root my device?
Is there a change to install cyanogenmod to tablet?

Can anyone port LG launcher for razr ? There are lots of LG launchers on xda but they are not working just got fc. So give me link of working lg launcher if it is not avaiable for razr then please port it *__* i love lg launcher due to its speed and smoothness.

[Q] 32gb storage almost full droid turbo topic

I have been reading other phone forums, looking for a possible solution to my problem. Attached is a screenshot of my storage screen and it shows almost 21gb of Misc and overall my phone is almost full. I have no movies or videos on it, just my apps that I had on my HTC Rezound with the additional apps of Disney parks and gsm battery monitor. I cannot download anything, was trying to get a file manager app to see what the Misc is, but despite deleting apps I keep getting the no storage error from play store. Anyone have an idea of what is in Misc and how I regain my storage space?

[Q] Q: Droid Razr M failing to update topic

My phone is on stock 4.4.2 kitkat. It's not rooted or anything like that, but it won't allow me to update it at all. I can see the error that it is showing when it fails to update and goes to that green android guy with the mark of death sort of symbol.

It says "galaxy4.apk has unexpected contents." Any advice from anyone? I don't care much about the update, but it's annoying me personally to see the notification every single day at the same time.

1 Questions on Droid MAXX topic

Hello, I have 2 questions on Droid Maxx:

1: When I reboot my phone I keep getting at the start a "This sim card is from a unknown source". This is the new AT&T Softcard mobile wallet sim.

2: With this AT&T sim I have not been able to get 5 bars of Service on AT&T 4G HSPA+ so far. I also get a little lower signal in areas a Nokia lumia 920 gets abit better signal in. I got my phone down to -59dbm and still maxes out at 4 bars.


This droid maxx is updated to the latest OTA.

Anybody can help?

Just ordered a Droid Turbo Over A Sony Z3v Did I make the right choice? topic

Im seriously in love with the droid but after checking out the specs of the Sony Z3 then playing and holding one, Im wondering if I made a bad decision. I kinda just rushed into the upgrade, I've been using a droid ultra for so long and loved it so I figured the upgrade would be even sweeter. My girlfriend got an iPhone 6 and wanted me to get one too so we can have a secure end to end conversation when I'm out of town but I can just do that from my iPad. So my phone gets here tomorrow and I was actually considering taking it straight to the Verizon store and exchanging it for a Z3v but what do you guys think. Are you loving your phones enough that the slight battery and screen improvements are worth the width and girth of the turbo over the slender sexy IPS water resistant up to 30 minutes Sony Z3v? The waterproof rating is tipping the scales for me but maybe Ill try it for a few days, if I hate it I think I have up to 14 days to exchange. Also No wireless charging or DLNA from the droid turbo COM' ON MAN!!!!
