[Q] D802 not recognized with USB topic

Good evening,

I bought a second-hand LG G2 32go, and I realized that it had been rotted by the previous owner (while I had asked him if the telephone was "blank" of any root).
In brief, the telephone is never detected on any PC (tried on different 2, with various drivers) by USB (I just manage to see it in WiFi).

In normal mode (phone started), with the good parameters (Synchronization Media and Debugging USB): no LG tools detect it. I tried with several cables, several PC, several drivers.
I have access to the download mode (it is here I realized that it was rooted): still not detected by Flash Tool.
Hard Reset tried unsuccessfully.

The Android version of the phone is 4.4.2 stock, Pit version 3.4.0, Build KOT49l. D80220b and software version D80220b-EUR-XX.

I'm appealing to you because in my researches, I found cases of defective USB cables, bad configuration, or still " I found, that works !" but which do not share the solution :)
I had a S3 before, with whom I spent hours of research, but with G2, I am too fast submerged by links and too numerous solutions and I do not find myself there any more.

Then would you have an idea or a solution to help me ? I just want that phone to be detected by USB.

Lg g2 d802 cm12 5.0.2... topic

Hey guys,

I have flashed the first Official release of CM12 and it is working perfectly. However, it doesn't have the ability to install Nightly updates and I do not know the process to get into TWRP. I've tried doing the Vol Down and Power Button to get into Recovery but it gets me into the Factory Reset option.

Does anyone know how to get into Recovery on a LG G2 using CM12 or how to root CM12 please?

Hello all,

I have a stock 4.4.2 20h d802 that I plan to reinstall with cm12 as soon as m1 is released.
I've read a kazillion threads here and thought I had everything covered but the more I read more variations I can see.

I would prefer a PC free solution.

20h blocks towelroot so I guess I have to use stump root instead.

I have the following plan. Any advice or anything missing in here? I do not want to brick my g2 :)

1) root with stumproot 1.2 apk
2) install autorec apk to automatically downgrade boot loader and install old twrp
3) upgrade twrp to 2.8.3 with zip file from recovery
4) erase cache from recovery
5) flash cm12 from recovery

But now I am reading stuff about baseband flashes and that lollipop needs jellybean stuff. So am I missing something our am I good to go?

When I flash lg official rom I have to choose the specific 32gb version. Will this be okay with generic cm12?

hello, thank you to all the helpers.
i got a new lg g2 d802 32 gb phone, and of course tried to root and put twrp on it. the root went well but i was unsuccessful at putting the twrp on it.
when i tried going into the twrp it got stuck in fastboot mode. after some research i learned what to do and started flashing the root files.
i didn't realize that there are designated files for every phone (stupid, right?). now my phone wont go into download mode, recovery mode,
or fastboot, and every time i turn it on it goes into the welcome setup of the d800, stays there for a couple of minutes and reboots.
my windows does not recognize it, and running ubuntu on vmware doesn't either.
is there a fix out there or is the phone gone?
please help!!!

Hi guys, i hope you can help me with this one.
I bought a D802 from AliExpress, but when i tried entering my sim i found out it couldn't get any signal even though it works just fine on my nexus 4.
i tried 2945#*802# to check the sim unlock process and got the next message: "The phone is permanently locked and can not be unlocked".
I can't enter an unlock code even if i want to. It doesn't give me the option. i can only dismiss the message.
I tried factory reset, rom switching, and radio flashing, none of them worked.
I opened a dispute in Aliexpress, but in the meanwhile i want to try and unlock it anyway, and maybe save the trouble of buying a new one and wait for a month all over again.

Can anyone help and maybe knows how to bypass it?

Hi Guys, firstly apologies if this is posted in the incorrect thread, feel free to move to the correct one if so.

Amyway, I am looking for a flashable JellyBean baseband (modem) please for my LG G2 D802 (international). The reason for this is because I am using a Lollipop ROM and the auto rotate feature does not work. Any help would be much appreciated.
