(Feature Request) Allow us to increase headphone and speaker volume topic

Please, Allow us to increase headphone and speaker volume in the rom for all devices by using Alsamixer app (in google play) and editing the file in system/etc/sound by es text editor (included in Es file explorer) to include maximum values as read by Alsamixer app for headphone and speaker volume in the file then make it permanent with the rom (not changed by rom updates) as this post:

The Z3 speaker top and bottom have different volume when playing music?? topic

As the title state, I know this question is very weird but i recently noticed that my Z3 top speaker vibrates more and less in the bottom one when playing music.

Anyone have the same problem or is this a normal phenomenon?? :rolleyes:

Sound only through external speaker topic

Hi,

As of today - my phone will only play sound through the external speaker. Calls play through it, and music plays through it.
The phone detects that head phones are connected/disconnected just fine, and the internal speaker was working for calls yesterday. I have no idea WTF is going on, haven't changed anything.

Updated the kernel from .108 to .157 in case it was a known bug - fixed nothing.

Is there anyone who might know what is going on??

Speaker (earphone) problem topic

It looks like I've got a problem with my earpiece. It's not loud enough and I think it was louder before. I don't remember exactly when it became so silent but it was not too long ago, I guess after some flashing. It's silent on every ROM now, CM11, CM12, ARTMOD, Sling, Now I use official just rooted and it is also silent.
Is there any help for that or the earpice is broken and I should send my phone to warranty?

[Q] Rattling sound coming from speaker — is this normal? topic

I'm noticing a rattling sound coming from my Nexus 6 when the sound is at a high volume, and something percussive (like piano music) is playing.

I put up a video on Youtube as an example, but unfortunately the forum software won't let me post a link. However, you can view the video by pasting "/watch?v=0lEw9zd2BCI" on the end of YouTube's URL.

As a point of comparison, I also tested my old Galaxy S III, which despite being almost three years old, doesn't have as much noise as the Nexus 6's speaker (although it does have a small amount).

I'm also hearing a rattle with the default alarm tone. Is anyone else seeing this, and is it worth RMAing over?

when I turn on "mobile hotspot" and use my note 4, the rear speaker gets random buzzing noise when playing videos, music or games.

Hi, i wanted to volume up my m8's speakers, i have Viper rom, and V4A installed, but i noticed that Htc One m7 is better on speakers than M8, because of IntenseBLAST mod provided to m7, is there a way to volume up my speakers? There must be a way, this intense blast mod doesnt work for m8 cuz M8 doesnt have Beats audio, can someone help here?

Electric buzz sound on speaker! topic

Hi there,

Has anyone noticed buzzing sound coming from speaker when playing music or even for coming notifications? I noticed it when I first got the phone beginning of December only on coming notifications, and it was very minimal and barley noticeable. Now, it is getting stronger and very noticeable. It is like getting worst. Also, it happens with every beginning of any song that Pandora plays then will disappear after 1 to 1.5 sec.

Just want to check with you guys before talking to Motorola.

[Q] strange electric buzzing Noice from top speaker topic

Hello,

This might be a double post, but nevertheless I have noticed a strange buzzing noice from the top speaker. It seems to occur when i switch wifi off and then on. At that moment when it is receiving and sending data. It seems that the speaker comes on and creates it. If i have to discribe it i would say it sounds like electrical currence or a something shortcutting. Anyone else with this problem? I mailed my provider today and i am looking to send my device back soon.

Also, offtopic, i noticed that the screen isnt positioned properly, on the left side it sticks out...

For me two reasons to look for a replacement nexus 6.

Speaker + mic topic

Hi guys,

A friend of mine have an S3. Few month ago, some girl vomited (I am not joking ahah) on his phone and the sound from speakers became really bad. The mic sound was also really bad. We decided to change only the speaker so we bought it online. Surprise: even with the new speaker the sound is really bad ! There is also some surprise...the mic is dead for no reason ! We tried many app like Sound Record and tried to record but it doesn't work. During the call the problem is the same ! The mic seems definitely dead.

Do you know what is the problem ? Do you have any idea ?
