[Q] Need Help in flashing rom in a phone which does not have ext memory card topic

Hello Guys, i have micromax canvas knight phone which does not have external memory card support. The phone is rooted and i need to flash a rom. For that i need to wipe data/factory reset, as i put the rom zip file in internal memory, rom file would get erased. Since factory reset is mandatory before flashing a new rom through recovery, how can we do that without losing the rom file in internal memory? Please help.

[Q] Memory card getting formatted or corrupted every week topic

Hi guys,
I have been using almost all custom roms for redmi 1s. It's quite frustrating that for every week the memory card is getting corrupted or formatted and I see a message that "memory card is not inserted". I try to remove the battery and remove SD card and put it back then the memory shows it's empty. Even it happens for internal storage when I connect to my windows PC. It happened thrice. Soon after I stopped connecting to PC. Please help me in fixing this issue.

[Q] Restore Deleted Files from Samsung Internal Memory topic

Hello,

I have deleted pictures on the internal memory of my Samsung S4. I have tried all things I found on the Internet to try to recover those files but failed. I rooted the phone and checked the USB Debugging in the developers options and still no recovery app is able to see my internal memory and try to access it to recover the files.

I tried to use the "USB Mass Storage Enabler" application to try to let the phone be seen as a USB device but it failed with the error that it was denied root access and I am not able to grant it the access.

Any help with this problem please?

i have a question, is there anyway to read the phone memory (RAM) with a computer (windows)?
I used to do that with bluestack, but not every app is supported by bluestack, so i look for another way to do so.

if anyone could help, i would really appreciate :)

ps: i know there are apps that can read memory of the phone, but i prefer to work on the computer with a keyboard and not on a smartphone

S5 lollipop... Memory leak topic

Okay, so I've been running the official polish lollipop rom on my UK O2 phone for about three weeks now, and I've noticed sometimes when pressing the home button it takes ages to redraw the icons on the home screen, it's started FCing apps and reset itself today once and yesterday once.
I also swiped away all the apps open earlier, and when I went back in they were all back there again.

It's totally stock, no launcher even.

I cleared my cache yesterday and it had no effect.

Anybody else having behaviour like this?

I've tried googling with no luck: Why is the Galaxy Tab S RAM consumption at nearly 2GB out of 3GB, right out of box. I've installed updates and restarted the system, and have not yet installed Apps. I removed some of the news widgets from the screens, and even deleted some Apps that would not be useful to me (in case they were somehow running in the background). Still, the lowest I've seen is 1.89GB out of 3GB total.
Out of box, this is a bit ridiculous, no?

I have a Galaxy S duos 2 (GT-S7582) and im having what i think is a bug
My phone currently has 1.2gb/2.0gb free internal memory and 2.8gb/64gb sd card but still it refuses to install one specific apk(any other that i try installing works fine)

So if anyone here has Brave Frontier I'm sure you know the problem. What happens often is when getting out of the game to switch apps even for a brief text reply and coming back the game resets as if I just opened it. I was in the middle of recording a video with my Galaxy S III, probably about 10-15 minutes into it, and I got a notification stating to the effect that the phone, or card was out of memory, and it stopped recording. The video doesn't show up in the destination folder either. Being that it recorded for about 10 mins before the phone ran out of memory, shouldn't that 10 mins of video be on the phone or memory card somewhere? Is there a way to retrieve and view the file?

Hi all,

I have increased the internal memory of my GT-S5830B with this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2082465) and all works fine.

Later I create a swap file in the SD Card with this guide (http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2376735) and it works too.

But, when the Swap File is active the app's instaled by Google Play can't be loaded, and I can't install others or do anything with SD Card, is the similar reason when the phone is plugged to a PC as a Mass Storage.

Anyone know if this situation have a solution? Maybe I need to use a Swap partion and not a Swap file?

[Q] G2 Soft bricked no ROM on Internal Memory topic

Hello All.. I have searching for hours not making much progress. Last night my LG G2 ran out of battery and I plugged it into the car charger and it soft bricked. I've been pretty busy lately so I'm on an old ROM Optimus DE 2.2. I don't have the ROM saved and I've been trying to ADB sideload the ROM back onto my phone but in the command prompt it says device not found. I tried installing some generic drivers and that didn't work. I tried the LGUnitedMobileDriver and that isn't working either.

I'm not sure what to do next. I have ADB on my computer and ADB sideload on my TWRP recovery, so I would like to push the ROM on my phone so I can flash it without having to wipe my phone. What drivers do I need right now my phone shows up under other devices in device manager. Or am I sideloading wrong? Any help please lol..

I was caught off guard because of the random soft brick. If I would have been working my phone I would have had the proper backups made. Thanks for any help, it is much needed I need my phone back ASAP!! Thanks again.
