HELP!! I cannot delete SMS messages on my stock Messeges app or any SMS app like hangouts or handcent. I select one message to delete....usually takes a long time to do so and bam the message is still there. HELP!!

How can see text message notifications from my phone on my tablet. topic
Hi all I was wondering if there is an app or something I can use so I can see (and if possible even reply to) text message I get on my phone from my tablet. My phone is an AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 and my tablet is a wifi only ASUS Transformer Prime. Thanks for any help.

My Huawei Ascent p7 pups up "Location service error" message every kinda 10 minutes. Apparently the weather app can not determine the current location, although all the location services are allowed to access my location. I have reload it already to the manufacturer's default settings. It seemed to be fixed for a while, but today here we get at the same point back. I have still the same problem. What should I do to remove this problem. I guess my telefon can not determine the current location even if GPS is on. Any idea is appreciated. Thanks all advanced.

How can I copy just part of a message?
For example, I receive a text message and I just want to copy a name or just some words from that message.
When I tap and hold, there are some options like Delete, Copy text, Forward ... etc.
When I Copy text, it is copying the whole text message. But I just want to copy just part of the message.
Please let me know how I can just copy part of the message. Thanks.

Power Problems??? Can't charge and message of device/battery overheating topic
Ok, this may turn into a long question but here it goes. I the a TMO Samsung Galaxy S4, been running fine now for over 1 year, 3 weeks ago, I flashed one of Dan's 12/12 builds of GPE 5.0. Around the 20th of December, I woke up with my phone underneath me and I must have fallen asleep with it while it. (Problem isn't associated with ROM, just giving you guys everything leading to issue) I went to turn on phone and battery was pretty much dead. Ok, so I go to plug on charger and but the battery icon just keeps recycling. I decide to to pull the battery inspect everything and all is good. I cannot get the device to charge or boot! I figure it's a dead battery, bad charging cable or USB port on phone is broken.... So I take my wife's battery (she has same phone) BOOM phone boots up, I put my battery in her phone and it charges normally.
So I connect everything to the computer because I originally thought, maybe something is either wrong with the recovery, ROM or firmware. Well... USB works perfectly fine for connecting data, I'm able to transfer files to SD card without a problem. So I tried to download the newest build at them time which was 12/24. I downloaded the GPE 5.0 12/24 build then installed with success. I rebooted and literally the second it hit the homescreen setup, the phone said "powering down - shutting down" I couldn't get past that screen. I tried this a few times, same results. I thought it was a bad download, tried alternate mirrors, same result. As a last ditch resort, I downloaded the Newest firmware that was out (yes I understand it has knox, but at this point I didn't care) installed a factory IMG and rebooted into ROM. Ok.... It let me in, BUT!!!! Almost immediately I get a message saying, "device/battery overheating - closing all 2 applications......." literally could only use phone and that was it!
At this point, I'm pretty stumped on what is going on, I think ok.... Battery is good, works perfectly fine in my wife's phone, it's not the battery. So I try charing again, the red light is blinking, error states there's a problem charging your device and the battery icon is also blinking. At this point, I'm not positive it's the USB board here's why. I cannot install any newer ROM without getting an overheating message that pops up. I also tried downloading the 12/25 build of Dan's GPE 5.0 ROM and I had the same results as the 12/24 build. The phone will boot and immediately shut down.
Here's the weird part... I can install and boot the 8/30 GPE build which is last kitkat built from Dan, I can't charge it, I get the same blinking light, but it works. My question is.... 1. Does anyone know what my issue is? 2. Are there any further troubleshooting steps I can take? 3. I would love to install one of the newer builds, but I can't what's different from 8/30 GPE to the newer 12/25 build that shuts the phone down. I'm guessing it is a safety measure because it says the phone is getting to hot.

[Q] CM12 nightly - no message inbound while in sleep mode topic

I installed CM12 nightly today and noticed that threema does not receive any messages when phone is in sleep mode. If I reactivate the phone sometimes messages are arriving directly. Sometimes I have to open threema to get "pending" messages. Does anyone noticed such problems? Or is there any new behaviour with sleep mode?

it really bugs me that lockscreen notifications doesn´t show whole text messages etc., not even when expanding. So I have to open the app if someone wrote more than a few words. Also I can´t see the whole email title on Gmail notofications. NiLS Lockscreen Notifications does show the whole content when expanding the notification.
Is there a similar way to get that with stock lockscreen e.g. with a mod or customROM? Sadly I didn´t find anything.
I appreciate any help!

[Q] Help?! Error message topic
When I tried to go on my phone this morning, I started getting an error message. It said that 'Com.android.phone' had stopped working, and I cannot remove it as another one pops up every time I close it. Occasionally it changes to 'Settings has unfortunately stopped working', 'Dialer has unfortunately stopped working', etc. Along with this, it randomly restarts, and I cant fix it. It is not a rooted device, and clearing the Cache from the recovery menu did not work.
Any suggestions, as I really do not want to factory reset it?

Error message after disabling Sprint Proxies topic
I disabled the Sprint proxies using the guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1283229 here and now I get an error message "Unable to establish wireless connection MIP: 75" every time I boot up the phone. The thing is, it connects fine. This wouldn't be an issue but the error message won't leave my notification bar. Please help!

Hi, well my lg g3 32gb running android 5, this happened before i updated, every time I bootup my phone, it does what its supposed to with the lg logo, and then suddenly after 10-20 seconds, a message pops up saying android is upgrading, followed by a black screen, loading up the home screen then the lock screen. I think its developping a fault. Its not rooted, used to be, but been unrooted since i updated to android 5

Does anyone have issue with Text Message being slow? I'm using the stock Message App come with AT&T. It always take about at least 3 or 4 second to complete the sending (i.e. the spinning circle on every text). No matter how short or long the text is. Especially, group text is very slow. I think it's not the Network issue because I had Note 3 before and never have the issue.

Is there a hack to send a whatsapp message though my app? What I'm looking for, is that when a person sets a message within my app for a contact, I want it to be sent on the contact's whatsapp with the user's permission.
I've tried WhatsApp.com / faq/android/28000012 (sorry cannot post lines, I'm new) with URIs and text as extra, but they just open up the chatbox instead of sending the message.

Hello Everyone!
I was wondering if there is a "Delay Message Sending" option in the Message Settings on the Verizon Galaxy Note 4. The reason I'm asking is because I don't have that feature on my phone, and it's pretty nifty to make sure that you're sending the right message to the right person. I remember it being on the Galaxy S5, so I would be pretty surprised if Samsung didn't bring it over. I still can't find the option, "Delay message sending". Thanks for all of your answers and help! :)

No matters how I had tried, clean or dirty install 5.0 or 4.4 ROM, factory reset, wipe everything, I still have problem with delayed message whenever someone text me. I take at least 5-10' for message arrive. everything else including sending message, receive call from someone or calling are fine.
it happens to all AOSP ROM but stock ROM. it works fine on any stock ROM.

[Q] HTC desire 816 stuck on development purposes message after flashing recovery topic
I was part way through attempt to cynogenmod my HTC desire 816. Using the guide on the cynogenmod wiki (can't post links yet because i'm new).
I had just finished flashing the recovery using fastboot and powered down the device, once the phone was off the charging screen came on with "the is build is for development purposes only...." message but I am STUCK here. I can't power up the device or power into recovery mode (held power + volume down for like 3 minutes).

I have recently gotten a tmo galaxy note 4.
For some reason, I started getting
'sim card full - please delete messages on sim card storage '. Every 30 minutes.
But when I checked, there were no messages or contacts for me to delete.
I searched on Google but it seems like only solution puerile aww giving is just to delete messages.
Does anybody know a fix for this issue? Or any experience? Thanks.
