Can someone suggest a better camera app without ANRs, for CM 12, as it does not have more customisations. :confused:

Almost any phone of today has a Slow-Motion / High-Framerate feature.
Well, i've got nothing agianst it but there's something about it that truly sucks.

Here's my old thread about this.

The Bad method:

• You Record: 00H:00M:10s@240fps (Resolution doesn't matter)


• You get a Video with 80 Seconds @ 30fps


• ...and Muted Audio ♫♪


• So that ►x1.0 isn't realtime!

Well, the iPhones record in realtime, but they can only record for 20 Seconds (real time equilevant)

Yes, you're right!

...but the Smartphones which use the sucking method of taking Slow-Motion Videos encode the output file being Slown Down.

The one and only advantage of this method, is for Media-Players which haven't got a Fast/Slow motion playback mode so that ►x1.0 makes the Slow Motion Effect Visible.


But i'd like to have ►x1.0 is Realtime-Equivalent!

So the Correct way in my opinion [IMO] is this:

• If you Record 00:00:10@240fps


• The Output File must be also 00:00:10 encoded at 204FPS and with ♪♫ Audio from ALL Microphones of the Phone!

Also some other Devices use the WRONG Method:

• Lumix FƵ1000 - Great Camera but Slow Motion Feature uses WRONG WAY.


• Canon IXUS 255 HS

But those Devices use a Good Method!

• Sony RX100/3


• Canon Powershot 510HS and 50HS


• Sony FDR-AX100


• Samsung NX1 (i think)

Try Lgcamera for better front cam video and way better audio,also for 4.1+ roms topic

You can choose your audio bitrate and this improves a lot your audio,also the video quality improves too a lot I choose 20mbits bitrate(don't know if I can choose more with class 10 card)and the result looks almost hd!Unfortunately the picture quality of the front camera remains the same .maybe someone could do a fix? You can try it also with your custom non ICS roms I think it's a great app

Hello guys need a little help
in Xolo q1010i, Micromax Yu Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi Note [Dual Sim] which has better camera ??

Xolo Q1010i has 8MP Rear with Sony Exmor R Sensor with 5-element lens
Micromax Yu Yureka has 13 MP Rear Sony IMX135 CMOS Sensor with 5-element lens
Xiaomi Redmi Note has 13 MP Rear Q13S01B Sunny N1404 CMOS BSI Sensor without 5-element lens & comes with wide 28mm angle.

I understand the 5P lens produces better and finer picture quality and I noticed Sony's Exmor R Sensor works better at low light than Sony Exmor RS Sensor [given the fact that Exmor RS is a newer sensor compared to Exmor R].
It seems like even Redmi Note has a good camera with wider angle but probably is not upto the mark under low light condition compared to Exmor Sensors ??

Which phone has a better camera for taking pics among these 3 models ?

MHL dock slow and better performance topic

Hi guys,
I'll explain in short my problem with my notes 4 ...
I bought the base samsung with hdmi (mhl) and when the integrated use on my samsung tv works perfectly but when I go to run games like Real Racing 3 or need for speed most wanted the game slows down heavily enough to make it unplayable!
The TV when I connect the terminal is self-imposed on 1920x1080x30.
Who among you can try and who knows give me some advice or answer?

Anything better than Multitasking Pro by OryonCorp? topic

Is there any app better than the Multitasking Pro by OryonCorp? I am using the free version. It is quite good and I like the ability to stack Windows on top of each other rather than the Note Pro's split screens. The problem is that in this app, I have to use apps developed by this company. I prefer to be able to use more feature-rich apps that are already installed on my device. Is there an app that allows usage of existing apps installed on the device and allow the users to stack/cascade the windows partly on top of each other?

Hey everyone! I hope you all had a good start into the new year!

Please allow me to introduce to you my new app - WiFi Better Battery. Its primary functionality lies within decreasing battery usage of WiFi and getting some security into Android's WiFi.

It saves battery by making sure WiFi is only on when needed. When you leave the range of your (for example) home WiFi, your device's WiFi module is turned off after a short delay (to make up for connection hiccups). When you reenter the range, you will quickly be reconnected.

Optionally, the app comes with a MAC checking feature to actually get some security into Android's WiFi system. By default, Android only checks the name of the network. That means that if any network has the same name, Android automatically connects to it, including sending the network password to this probably malicious router. Not to mention the dangers coming from being connected to a malicious WiFi. The MAC check tries to make sure the network is actually who it seems to be.

The app does have in-app purchases, but those are only for donations and to deactivate ads. The full functionality is completely free.
