Fix for empty app-mounted directories (CifsManager, etc.) in Android 5.0? topic

Android 5.0 Lollipop breaks apps that mount file systems to be shared with other apps. This includes CifsManager, Mount Manager, essentially anything that mounts cifs shares, FUSE file sytems, etc. The symptom is that the mounted contents appear fine to app that peforms the mount operation (assuming the app itself provides the ability to browse the contents), but every other app only sees an empty directory at the mount point.

Will a fix be possible for Lollipop as it was for Android 4.2?

Question about G3 networks (CDMA, LTE, etc.) topic

So I know this phone has CDMA, LTE, and GSM. My question is, does GSM even work on sprint? I thought GSM was only on At&t and verizon? I thought sprint was only CDMA and LTE?

I am confused about the GSM network. Does it mean that GSM isn't used with sprint but can be since there is a sim card?
I am only on sprint so will i ever need to worry about GSM?

Tizen app mods etc/ Help topic

Hi guys.

Im just looking for some advise if anyone knows.

Im very new to tizen and trying to figure out what can be done.

Im experienced with android roms and mods etc. Created quite a few myself.

Anyway theres a few questions i have.

1. Can tizen apps be 'decompiled' like android apps can? And if so does anybody have the tools to do so?

2. I read somewhere android apps can be modified to run on tizen?

3. I read up on sdb and pushed a few files to my gear to test and worked great. However can or is there a working recovery for tizen and can we have flashable zip etc like in android?

Would love to make some mods etc for tizen if its possible.
