So what i did before it started.

I was running Paranoid Android 4.6 Beta 6, everything was good, i wanted to try lastest stock ROM, so i flashed 1.17 with FlashTool (i wanted to try camera, if its better) well, but i liked features from 4.4 kitkat, so i rooted with rootkit, via ADB flashed boot.img, installed back Paranoid and boom... clock sudenly freeze everytime, i have tried lolipop CM12 beta3, same thing, flashed to CM11 FXP349... same clock freezing, flashed paranoid 4.6 beta 6, same thing, so i flashed it back to 1.17, but hey, same clock freeze, so i flashed to 1.14, boom same freezing...

I have no idea what to do now, clock just freeze, alarm doesnt work because of that and iam clueless. :(

[Q] S-OFF impossible after going S-ON? topic

In response to my Q below, a user wrote that if I go S-ON (to take the phone into repair) I can never go S-ON again. Is that true? I've restored my phone 100% to stock HBOOT, recovery OS etc. and I'm presently at HBOOT 1.57 and have locked the bootloader and have "*** LOCKED ***". So the only thing left is to go S-ON. But I'm wondering if this means I can never go S-ON again.

Thanks!

What's Going On Here? topic

Hey Guys,

I am receiving this phone today and was wondering what's going on in this community. I see very little support from devs and no maintenance on threads. How come everything is a mess? Lol

Let's get this thing going, Lollipop? topic

From CES 2015, Mike Fasulo, the CEO of Sony Electronics, announced that the entire Xperia Z series will get Lollipop next month.

Are you guys excited for it or no? With the new Lollipop update, you guys think we will receive the simultaneous voice and data with it too? Will this update also unlock software features that our phone were supposed to have (FM Tuner, Location-based Wi-Fi, etc)?

What do you guys think? :D

So I'm going to check out a used G2 tomorrow. topic

Found a "broken" G2 in the ads today, I might go check it out tomorrow. The seller is selling it for a very low price (somewhere around 150 USD) because the phone can't register to a network. Using my previous knowledge of other Android phones and the knowledge I acquired during my time with my own G2, I've deduced the following (ordered from least likely to most likely):

- the phone was dropped and the radio cable got detached (fairly easy fix, take the phone apart and reattach everything, the physical state of the phone can't be deduced from a single photo that's put online)
- the SIM tray is faulty because at the photo I got, a no SIM icon is visible (though that could've been taken without a SIM in the phone)
- something or someone messed up the EFS partition (I plan on checking whether the phone's bootloader root checker has been tripped, if the IMEI is okay, if it has a custom recovery, etc). The phone seems to have a stock ROM which I suspect someone flashed, or tried to factory reset the phone (which raised a suspicion described below).

But the most likely situation is that the phone was stolen. Why? Well:
- if the phone can't register to a network, its IMEI may be blacklisted
- the phone is being sold without any equipment, not even its box. The guy says it was sold to him like that, which makes me even more suspicious. I have some friends working in certain operators here, I'll snoop around once I get a hold of the phone's IMEI. If I can't get a straight story out of him, I'll try some intimidation or to knock down the price to oblivion, being that the phone might be stolen, and use it for parts, if my ways of finding its owner turn up dry.

Do you guys have any additional tips on what to check? I plan on putting my own SIM card in and trying to run some diagnostics from the hidden menus to see what's what.

[Q] Going from ROM'd to FACTORY stock questions topic

Hello,

It's been a while since I visited the forums so bear with me here.

I recently bought a G3 off the 'Bay and the seller rooted and put a ROM in it. I want to go back to factory settings with it's original functions.

My question is will it UNROOT my phone and DE-UNLOCK it? I'm more worried of the latter. It was originally a T-Mo phone.

Thank you.

PS
Yes I've searched on how to go about the "factory reset" on YouTube. Seems fairly easy and I've had prior experience on doing this thing on my past phones.

Have trying many roms - going back to stock? topic

Hey guys, just wanted to share.

I tried many roms (PA, CM, Omni, S5 Sensations etc) and I always find something missing/not working properly.
sometimes its the battery draining too fast, sometimes just random crashes and so on.

I'm thinking of going back to stock. I have the i9300 and the latest stock one is 4.3 (boooooo).

Has anyone done this route before? someone here also gone back from roms to stock?
Will be nice to hear others opinion.

Thanks :cyclops:
