[Q] Trying to fix data wipe failed issue, encountering more problems topic

I am currently following the instructions found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...62&postcount=4

I get to Step 3:

3) Copy the Froyo 5.2 Voodoo-stable-5.2-Froyo-2.2.1-GT-I9000-unsigned-update.zip for i9000 to your Vibrant /mnt/sdcard/update.zip via phone file manager or adb push... Then do 'adb reboot recovery' to put the phone into recovery mode or the 3 button push method.

But it keeps telling me Permission Denied. I'm using the command: adb push Voodoounfix.tar /sdcard/update.zip

I tried fumbling my way around adb shell since I was able to get permission that way by entering su but I cannot find the commands to upload the Voodoounfix.tar file to the /mnt/sdcard/update.zip location.

Whenever I try to access the cdcard location I get the following error: can't cd to sdcard

I'm really ecstatic that I got this far, my Vibrant is going to my teenage son who doesn't have a phone and I would really like to get this working. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you.

[Q] What to wipe? topic

This is probably the wrong place to ask but I wanted to know what I should be wiping in TWRP before I flash a new ROM. It's been a long time since I flashed a fresh ROM (I'm on CM11S for quite some time) and I can't remember what I wipe to give myself a clean start.

Thanks

[Q] No space for applications after full wipe in twrp topic

Hi everyone,

I am facing a problem with space. All applications are showing a message saying that there is no space in the device, applications such as default camera, spotify, screenshots etc. In the settings I can see that I have 9,21GB free.
Also, I can install apps from google play without problem, no space error message.

This is what I did:

I was using Android 4.4, installed TWRP, wiped EVERYTHING (internal memory included, everything.), had to flash with kdz in download mode to recover my phone. After this I installed v10A, rooted with purpledrake, twrp, standard wipe, flash v20f bumped and supersu 2.40 from twrp.

Finally I have Android 5.0 v20f rooted but applications can't access any space memory, I guess that I destroyed something when I wiped everything and was playing a little bit to unbrick my phone.

Does anyone has any clue about how yo solve this? Thank you very very much!

[Q] Signal issues after full wipe to NK1 topic

I ran into issues trying to upgrade the ROM on my gf's phone, so for now I reflashed to NK1 using Odin (full wipe/re-partition).

Phone is just barely connecting to the network after the reflash. (Shows signal strength around >20 dBm below what it used to be). Chatted w/ VZW support and the rep did all he could to reset on their end, pushed latest PRL.

What could I be missing?
