(Feature request) Allow connecting to 5ghz WiFi networks topic

After installing omnirom 4.4.4 lastest nightlies in note 10.1 n8013, i no longer can join my 5 ghz wifi network as SSD name of that network does not appear (appears in stock rom) and have to join my other 2.4 ghz wi fi network

5GHZ 100+ channels topic

On the stock ROM shipped with the device I had access to the high channels, my router uses channel 104.

I then flashed a franco kernel and accepted also a OTA update which put me on the latest CM11S milestone update.

After both these changes my 5G router is no longer seen by the phone but I do see other 5G routers which I assume is down to support for the high channels been removed, is this down to the kernel or the rom update?

Is disappointing if I can no longer use higher channels.

I have setup a 5ghz connection on my DLink router but my Z3 will not discover it, not even manually. Has anybody experienced this issue before? I am stock, unrooted.

After the upgrade using full zip, I'm not able anymore to detect my 5ghz Wi-Fi. From my other devices everything is fine pinky my tablet is not showing it...
Even choosing the option to show only 5ghz networks I see every network except 5 ghz...

Help?!
