When the news broke about the OTA capture of the Indian Soak Test and the subsequent signs of a roll-out in Europe, I thought we must be near a public release of the lollipop update. As I don't have a PC(or Mac) it is impossible for me to change my build to a GLOBAL or EU edition. Anyone in the UK got the update yet or are we all still waiting????

HTC One M8 Lollipop Update topic

As some may know, the new UPDATE is available for international and developer builds for Android 5.0.1 Lollipop. Below are the Details to help people verify if the download is the latest OTA

I have done some testing over the past 16 hours and noticed flappy droid isn't accessible by normal means of pressing Android version 5 - 10 times. It is also noted the the flashlight quick toggle is no longer in the quick toggle menu. As for UI there has been minimal changes. But this was expected. HTC One M9 is on the horizon and ready to enter earth's atmosphere very soon so a new Sense Version was unlikely until the HTC One M9 has hit the market and then we may see Sense 6.5 or Sense 7.

I will try to get the dump if I can. I am currently in ownership of a developer device over international so if I do, this will require you to convert your model ID and CID. I will not explain how to do this. I will also add that I have had some slow experiences and occasional lag here and there.

When I Upload the Dump, please wait before flashing. We may need a new HBoot and Firmware UPDATE to be able to safely install the UPDATE. Another issue may be you will lose perk root. I have had issues with root on this version of HTC One M8 5.0.1 Build. Root is there but has issues keeping applications permissions or just simply failing all together.

I will update here as soon as I have done more work on the firmware.

As of posting, The UPDATE was only available to unlocked HTC One M8 Standard and Developer Devices. But a simple check won't hurt.

Please post your experiences here so we can compare any issues we may have. When posting, please post your build number and model id and let us know if you own a official developer device or flashed standard to developer device. If you can also post your HBoot version.

I wandered into the local Sony shop and the only working model they had was the one that one of the staff had bought. But his didn't have the new pull down from the top menus.

I would have thought Sony should be able to keep up with the likes of LG etc... surely there should be the new update out there by now?

It seems that HTC has released an update of android 4.4.4. Is somebody capable to download, install and make a TWRP or CWM backup and post this here. See screenshot. Somehow I can download where HTCDEV jumps to our local site in EU where no Desire 816 dual SIM is (officially) for sale.[emoji57]

[Q] LG G2 stuck in Firmware Update Screen (+loop) topic

Hello Guys!

My Problem (I've looked for about 2 hours in the forum, but can't find anything similar to my situation):

Got my new LG G2 (D802, 32GB, Android 4.4.2) today. I wanted CyanogenMod on it, so i unlocked it, etc...

But as i have installed in recovery mode, and after that i always got stuck at the CM 10.2-Boot screen i decided to install the stock android back onto it.

i went into download mode, choose the right .kdz-file and tried to flash it with LG Flash tool 2014.

But it got stuck there at 20%. My current situation: I can't get out of the screen where it says "Firmware upgrade and 0%, und below is "B75" and "rooted". When i press the power button for some seconds the screen gets black, then the LG logo appears and immediately the Firmware-upgrade-screen appears, again with "0%" and "B75" and "rooted".
I also can't get into recovery mode: When it push volume down and power butten, and it asks me to do a factory hard reset and i press the power button to confirm (when normally then the recovery mode menu appears) it changes automatically again to the Firmware-upgrade-screen.

HI. Devs Since the last update (6.5.35) I'm not getting any ota update and I tried the manual way of updating process. It doesn't update . I unrooted my zenfone 4 and I'm on pure stock rom.
Tried updating with full ROM from Asus website but I'm still not able to update .I want to update my phone to 6.6.3 firmware Verison. But I'm not able to. Please some one tell me where an I going wrong? What could cause my phone not update I ever did a factory reset before and after . but I'm in no luck . please help me figure of this problem whats causing my phone not get update. Please help me.:confused::confused:

Just got a small update on the z3v. It's not lollipop. [emoji20]...it's still 4.4.4 and same Kernal too....It enhances nfc.

No Android L update yet! topic

Many of us purchased this devices only because google was directly handling the software experience on the phone with assurance that the OS would always be latest that was the tagline during sales as well . Its now Jan 2015..and even 5.0.1 has been released and no update yet. We have been fooled here instead of being first in line after nexus devices to get the update , other brands have already started to push lollipop update to their phones :(

Of-course we could root the device and install some other rom but why sacrifice that for stability and security of the stock rom.
