I missed a calendar reminder because there was no sound notification while I was on a call. Same with email/txt/etc. Is there any way to still get the notification while on a call?

i had always the echo app and it was great until last update that F_cked the camera app from the lock screen... try yourselves to open the camera from lock screen it open the camera not in the normal way.. i make foto and it gives me pop up after that to confirm or retry if i press confirm it opens the phone and close the camera app.. and retry delets the photo i shot... i want the normal easy way!! to have shortcut for the camera app the function normal as i open it from the home screen and to have full notification info on the lock screen... (when i get 10 meeseges on what app it will show me everything and not just 4 rigs... ) please does anyone know any good app as that??

headphone jack icon on notification bar issue topic

so today I got this strange headphone jack icon on the notification bar for no reason: I hadn't had headphones in the phone for weeks, and it popped up. I tried restarting, shutting down and turning back on, and finally trying headphones and taking them out, and nothing works. What's the deal? I also notice I can't play my music anymore without headphones.

I am not sure if there is a forum for this problem but maybe someone here can help me. I recently signed up with Net10 service. Overall it has worked fine; if there is a problem it is that sometimes the customer service person you talk with is clueless, but otherwise I don't have any real complaints except this one:

The moment my service started with my s4 AT&T phone, the word "home" shows up on my notification bar and it is always there unless another notification shows up, but it comes right back once everything else finishes. When I asked customer service they told me it has to be there and cannot be removed but offered no explanation. Well, right after I started up with Net10 my daughter and her husband bought AT&T phones and go the same service and neither of them have "home" in the notification bar. So clearly my case is different but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it.

[APP][FIX] Notification panel opening problem during phone call FIXED topic

OnePlus One's screen has some bugs. One them is BACON-347 (https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-347) The first touch in any location while a phone call, pulls down the notification panel. This app can fix notificaiton panel opening problem while a phone call.

Until this post 1000+ users installed and 89 of them gave 4.66 point for review. According to Flurry, this app fixed this problem more than 221,000+ times (5k in a day).

What is the problem: The problem is shown in the BACON-347 (https://jira.cyanogenmod.org/browse/BACON-347). There is some ghost touch above status bar which cause to open notification panel. After first touch to screen, phone assume that these two touches releated (Your touch and ghost touch) and tell to system there is a slide from first touch to second one. This action opens the notification panel. But if the second touch is for hang up to call phone cant do that because it assume that you want to open notification.

How this app works: During a phone call, this app put a view above status bar and absorbs the effect of ghost touch(When this happened, fix count increase) After user's first touch, if user try to hang up call, app assists user and close the call. But if user touch any other position other than close button, app closes and dont open the notification panel. That is all.

CM11 HeadsUP Notification for calls topic

hi guys i had maclaw's cyanogenmod 11 rom for a while then i changed to android andi slimkat and one of the things i enjoyed about it was the headsup mode for calls. it works like this : when u get a new call and the screen is on (u are doing something on ur phone) the call doesnt block the whole screen, instead there is a popup that u can choose to put away. i wanted to know is there something like that in thisCM11 that i missed? coz im lookin for reasons to go back to it

Notification sounds on speakerphone even when headphones plugged in topic

Hi I was wondering if there is a setting to prevent notification sounds from going through the speakers while earphones are plugged in.
Notifications sounds are only played through earphones if music is playing but through the speaker when no music is playing.

[Q] Pull down menu notification options? topic

I'm unable to post this question in the ViperOne thread as I don't have enough posts (I mostly read/lurk and have mostly been able search for answers successfully when I have questions). However, I haven't so far found anything regarding this question I have (maybe an answer doesn't exist). Anyhow, I was wondering when you pull down your menu to look at notifications (emails and texts for example), is there a way to change what quick options you have for emails. Mine shows "Reply" or "Forward" but I am wondering if those can be changed to what you want. For me, I'd prefer to have "Reply" or "Delete." Two years ago when I had a rooted Galaxy S3 with CM (different phone, I know), I remember having the "Delete" option. I have a rooted, s-off HTC One M7 running the latest Viper ROM. Thanks! App for managing downloads in notification bar? topic

Hi, as a download a lot of music and files from internet on my phone there are lots of time I would like to pause/resume/delete downloads directly in the notification dropdown meny/bar. I would also see the current download speed. For this I know there are apps but i would like to be able to pause/resume/delete aswell. Anyone have any suggestions for this?

The notification LED strength changes during charge... topic

I noticed that during charge the LED strength changes without apparent reason. sometimes it's bright red, sometimes it's weaker. same for the green led once charge is complete.
It seems to happen only during charge and only when it relates to the status of the charge. regular notifications seem to be bright.

I have a stock SM-N9005 running 4.4.2.

Is this normal?

Lolllipop: No incoming screen when lock screen notification disabled topic

I personally don't like lock-screen notifications and hence I disabled it in lollipop. However, it has a weird side effect, now it wouldn't show any incoming call screen when the screen in locked. Instead, it rings, I have to unlock the screen, click on a small call window to know who is calling or to answer the call. Not sure if this is G3 specific implementation or true with all the lollipops - in either case it's very stupid though technically correct.

Does anyone know how to disable the OTA update notification? It's irritating me pop up in my notification tray all the time but I can't for the life of me figure out how to stop it, my tablet is rooted running Lollipop 5.0, I tried using the disableservices app and disabling the sustemupdateservice under the Google Services Framework, disabled both services under the System Updates, disabled updateservice under SHIELD Hub, and both services under NVIDIA Tegra Service Updater and still no dice, it keeps popping up.

Isn't anyone annoyed at how big the status icons at on the notification bar? It takes up so much space compared to stock android. Is there a way to change this? My device is not rooted. If I need to root to change, how can I do it?
