[Q] Will I lose my Unlock if I root & install a custom rom? topic

Guys I was thinking about rooting my phone, If I am rooted will I get the official OTA Lollipop update or not?
Also my phone was unlocked by sprint before I moved from USA, If I root my phone and install a custom rom
will I lose my international unlock?

So today I managed to root my Z2 :D

Following advice from o0 Matt 0o in another thread, I downgraded from 4.4.4 to 4.42 using flashtool, then using the rootkitXperia_20140719 install.bat the phone is now rooted (for some reason it would not find adb even though running adb from a cmd prompt worked!)

Anyway, now I am on 4.4.2 with root, if I upgrade back to stock 4.4.4 rom will I lose the root?

My phone just let me know there is a new OTA ATT Software Update. Has anybody gone through with the update? What does it upgrade? Will I lose root if I upgrade?

Redmi 1S lose 3G connection topic

Some months ago my phone started to behave strangely.

I have 2 sim card both for Vodafone. I use the data connection from the 1. sim.
Once i start a call from the second SIM card the phone drop the data-connection from the first sim(as expected) but after the call end the phone seemingly connect back to the 3g network but I cannot gat a byte from the internet.
I tried to switch between the cards and the result was that if I use the 2g in the second slot and start a call from the first sim the phone easily connect back to the internet after start a call.
also this is the case if the data connection in the 1. sim is 2g and not 3g.


So the main problem as i can see is that if i start a call from the second sim when i use 3g data-connection on the first sim after the call ends the phone cannot connect back properly.


If I turn on and off again the data-connection is not help.
But if i switch between 2g and 3g on the first sim the internet can be used again.

Please advice.

I readed a lot of topics about losing DRM keys and disabled features. some peoples said that they don't lose DRM keys after unlock BL and some peoples said that X-Reality, Sound quality, Sony apps, OTA update etc... still working after unlock BL. i'm getting confused with those results so my simple question is, will Z3 compact lose DRM keys after unlocking BL?

If the Z3 compact does lose the DRM keys, will these functions be disabled (as i know so far)?

- Camera
- X-Reality
- GPS
- Track ID
- Audio Quality and Volume Enhancements (Unlocked Bootloader phones suffer from lower sound quality and volume)
- PS4 Remote Play
- OTA update

Only camera is important for me... if you know more disabled features. please tell me.
