[Q] HELP! Wiped system files now can't boot up the phone (says no OS installed) topic

Sorry but I'm a total rookie here. I first started screwing around with my stock Nexus 6 by rooting. Then somehow I ended up with TWRP installed (or whatever) on my phone. Today I received notification that 5.0.1 OTA was available and when I click install it just went into TWRP and wouldn't let me install the update. For some reason I messed with TWRP and erased everything. Now I'm stuck with a brick.

Oh an to boot I can't get Android SDK running on my computer because of JVM or something.

Can anyone help? I just want to go back to out of the box stock and start over if that's possible. No TWRP or rooting necessary for me after this episode.

Thanks so much in advance for the assistance (please use small words and short sentences). Yes, I've tried searching like crazy and can't find anything that just step by step instructs me how to get back to stock.

[Q] Restore data wiped during flash? topic

(Galaxy SIII currently running CM 10.2.1)

I'm very very new to flashing ROMs. I tried switching to CM 10.2.1 from stock yesterday, and I thought I had backed up with the TWRP recovery page, but I think I have wiped it during the process. I have none of my my sms, call log, or contacts, and none are in my Gmail.

I do however have a .twrps file. Is there anything at all that I can do to at least restore my contacts? I've tried a few of the solutions posted here but I hadn't used an app for backup and the adb directions are really vague, although I'm continuing to work on it.

Any and all help would be much appreciated! Thanks.

i was flashing a new rom using twrp v2.8.3.1 and i accidentally left the data option checked and now i lost everything
please help i don't know what to do?

I found several related threads. But none seemed to have the answer I needed. I do not have an EFS backup. The last thread I tried used QPST. Did everything to about step #39 of maybe 42. "Copy line 550 and select Write to Phone", I think this was in NV_Manager (sorry, not at home). Copy line 550 containing IMEI info. Line 550 did not exist on my phone. The line numbers went up to about 46?? My question is... If the entire entry is gone from my G2 (no line 550 at all), how can I reenter it? I do have the original IMEI number. Or please steer me to the correct thread???
I have been 3 weeks without my phone. Any help is appreciated.

Please help me!!! I finally reverted back to the 10c stock image and got rooted. I installed TWRP (not sure which version) and wiped everything
to install Cyanogenmod 11. I normally would not wipe system, but it wouldn't install the zip, so after trying several other ROMs I wiped system.
Now I am stuck on the LG logo screen. If I power off, it powers on of its own accord, and I cannot seem to find any button combination to get back into recovery...... If anyone could please assist me to learn how to go back to recovery or even download mode so I can reflash.... Anything to get me anywhere please, and Thank you very much for taking the time from your day to reply to this.
