2 Question about installing CWM and usb mass storage SK17 (mini pro) topic

Hello, I will be short but accurate. My brother has this phone since a while and asked me to install a custom ROM on it. I choose Xperia Performance Max, which is for locked bootloaders.

The phone has ICS4.0 stock running. And it's rooted.

I downloaded xparts to install CWM as the ROM suggests to do, and I install CWM from there, and says "Succesfully installed", but when I choose to reboot to recovery from Xparts, the phone reboots normally (not going to recovery).
Tried holding the volume dow button in the sony screen, and tried pressing a lot of times (spamming) the volume down button duron the sony screen, but it only boots normally to the Stock ICS.
1- How can I get to CWM or installing in another way or something?

Also, I wanted to put it in the usb mass storage, but in the "storage" part of the Settings doens'nt appear, and I want to copy the ROM from my computer to the sdcard. I also wanted to flash the recovery vía flashtool, and I got the message that maybe the phone was in MTP (were this letter right) mode, so the flashtool doensn't recognize the model.

2- How I enable the usb mass storage option?

Thanks in advance.

Any way to get old school USB Mass storage back? I tried 3 apps, none worked(LG L70) topic

Ok so I was using a Droid X from 2011 till this November. I finally got a new phone, LG L70. It is a nice upgrade from what I had, much faster.
However the MTP mode leaves a lot lacking namely I cannot access my SD card from most applications only from windows explorer. I miss my phone being assigned a drive letter.
I have tried a few apps that claim they bring back USB mass storage mode but they do not. One ever required a reboot and it did nothing.

Any help?

Thanks :)
