[Q] Nexus 6 and Google Play Music topic

Has anyone figured out way to keep purchased songs from google on the device? I have hooked the nexus up to the PC and i cant see my purchased songs, at all. Im using music v5.6.160p.1480807. Has anyone else ran into this issue? I downloaded the music to the phone but i cant move it to my pc.. or other media devices.

I was listening to music at the gym this morning, and I wanted to switch my phone from Priority Mode to All. (I use Priority Mode as Silent Mode because I just turn off everything and it only allows Alarm to come through, and I always keep my phone on vibrate so All Mode is my Vibrate Mode.) However, I couldn't figure out how. I ended up having to stop the music, wait a few seconds, press the volume button, switch it, then play music again. Seems a bit tedious to do, so was curious if anyone knows another way? Thanks.

The Z3 speaker top and bottom have different volume when playing music?? topic

As the title state, I know this question is very weird but i recently noticed that my Z3 top speaker vibrates more and less in the bottom one when playing music.

Anyone have the same problem or is this a normal phenomenon?? :rolleyes:

I use a Samsung Galaxy S4 (SGH-I337M Canadian) and have for about 2 years now. I have rooted and ran custom roms the entire time and ran into little to now problems. I was on Danvdh's GPE Rom when I decided to try to encrypt my phone because of Canada's law where cops are allowed to search your phone if you are pulled over.

I left my phone encrypting for hours and it just got stuck on the boot screen and later messaged me saying encryption failed. I had to wipe my phone back to stock using Odin but when I reinstalled my rom again, my dialer app would become laggy and say I have no service and crash, my music app would crash, my video apps would crash, and on my stock samsung rom I couldn't use wifi. I have no idea on how to fix this and would eally enjoy some help. I tried all I could think of to fix this.

Music app not working topic

I recently bought one of the unlocked fire phones and added google play, all the services, etc. to it and so far everything has worked fine. i tried to launch the music app today for the first time and it wont open. the phone does not respond at all when i touch the music app icon, so i download prime music app and tried it but it crashes right after launching. this is the only problem i have experienced so far and was wondering if anyone else has had a similar problem or knows how to fix this problem. thanks!

Looking for a music player with NFS support topic

I use Kodi right now for movies, but the interface is not that good for music playing. I have all my music setup on a NFS share, so the music player would have to be able to read it - is there such player that works with the remote apart from Kodi?

When I plugin headset to the device, Google Play Music is starting up automatically.
I don't want this.
Actually Google Play Music is over-ruling the setting in GoneMAD Music Player.

Static sound while playing music - OPO - CM12 ALL BUILDS topic

Poweramp was going absolutely superb until I went for Android 5, I tried LiquidSmooth Official ROM, Candy5 ROM, bunch of other unofficial builds as well as CM12 Official build for my OnePlus One, whenever hearing songs, on variable intervals, I can hear a static sound cutting through the music, at times it comes up 6-7 times in a single song and extremely annoying, stays on for about half a second, i tried with different kernels, increased priority and buffer size in poweramp, nothing worked.

I tried with PlayerPro too this morning, same thing. Its not really the similar static noise to old televisions, but a different type of static sound.

I didn't see this posted, and I don't think this is currently possible (at least no application to do it yet, seems like with root we could do anything right??) but is there a way to transfer mp3 files to the watch? I don't use Google Play Music for anything and have all my mp3s on my computer and phone. This doesn't allow them to transfer through Play Music.

Any methods on how to put mp3s on the watch to enable listening via bluetooth headphones directly to the watch?

I installed Viper4A on b133 and everything was fine.
After trying to install xprivacy something went wrong. I got a bootloop.
So I decided to flash b133 from the huawei site.
Everything went fine, accept for getting back my data by titanium backup.
O.K. no problem.
Installed everything again (not xprivaxy) and tried to reinstall viper4A.
But there is no processing....
Even in settings - sound the oportunity to choose music effects is missing.

Phone is rooted. Bootloader is unlocked.
Music fx de- and reinstalled.
Native music player frozen.

I have no more ideas - and google ist not my best friend looking for solutions.

Can anyone help me?

I have a rooted nexus 6 . When i download a song using music download apps from playstore they donot show up in the music player tracklist. I use musiXmatch to play music . When i download a song it gets stored in the music folder in storage. The player reads all the songs that present in the music folder but the one downloaded from the app. The music file i downloaded and the pre existing music files are the same type audio/mpeg. The only files that cause an issue are the files that have letters like (W) (C) (J) at the ending in their name. e.g Kabira Fullsong(j).mp3 ....

Wifi, music, video don't work after unroot topic

Hey everyone after panicking for an hour or two looking for ways to save my phone I decided to make an account and try to get some help more directly. I need to bring my phone in for a warranty exchange at best buy because my screen has a burned in image. I decided to unroot my phone when my friend told me that a factory reset should do it... well it didn't. So I went and opened up odin and applied the newest stock firmware following a guide from galaxys4root It was all fine and dandy and my phone went to reset only to be stuck on the samsung logo for an hour. So I went online and looked for what I should do and people said factory reset so I reset my phone. It then booted up fine but had the line "kernel is not seandroid enforcing" on the boot screen. It went into the normal setup pages like every other first time boot but wifi doesn't want to turn on and music/videos don't want to play. I plugged it into my computer and kies says it doesn't support my device and when I went to make a phone call it seemed to work but left me with a "process com.android.phone isn't responding." I use a rogers s4. I'm a noobie at all this stuff and I have no idea what went wrong please help me what should I do next? Where do I start D:?

Pics and music on SD suddenly gone :( topic

Hey there, I'm hoping somebody can help me. All of a sudden this morning all 1300 pics and 600 songs just disappeared from my SD card. I pulled the battery and rebooted, still nothing. I had noticed last night that a few of the pictures were great out and had the image sideways in my gallery, I didn't think anything of it. I tried to delete the ones that are grayed out and they wouldn't delete.
Then this morning I noticed when I went to go and open one of my pictures it would not allow me to open it I could see it in the gallery but I could not open it full size. Thats when I get a second reboot, and all of my pictures disappeared. I thought it was the SD card because at that point it was saying blank SD card or SD card not compatible to your device. This is the same SD card I have had for years in multiple Samsung devices.

I can't even view the pics on my computer with a card reader. I have tried 2 different SD cards as well on my phone and they all "blank card or card not compatible "

The phone won't even let me format any cards.


I'm stuck. Any suggestions would be awesome. I'm not even looking to recover the pictures, I back them up to drop box so the only ones that were messing with the ones that I took yesterday and today, that is no big deal.

How can I set Volume buttons to control ONLY "Music, video, games and other media"? topic

Hi, there's one thing I really hate about Smartphones, and it's the Volume button and it's function. Sometimes I accidentally press it and the phone goes from Mute to Sound, it changes the volume of the ringtone, etc.

So, If you go to Settings, Sound, Volumes, you see:
1. Music, video, games and other media
2. Ringtone
3. Notifications
4. System

I want that when I press the volume button, it only changes the volume of "Music, video, games and other media". I don't want it to change the mode of the phone, or the sound of the ringtone or whatever. :confused:

What can I do?

By the way, I have a Samsung Galaxy Core II with Android 4.4.2, though this is a generic question. THANKS! :)
