[Q] Need help on making a google cardboard headset!!!! topic

Hi all, this is my first post on here, though I have been on these forums for quite a while.
Anyway, I am doing this 'project', aka, the google cardboard VR display using a mobile phone. My idea WAS to get my crappy Alcatel One touch Fierce to work with the google cardboard case. It did and it did not at the same time.
What happened was that I changed my Density setting in build.prop and got my phone bicked, there is no way to get the phone to work again, trust me i tried, after messing up, I cant stop thinking about finishing the project.
My idea as of now is, to buy myself a phone with an HD resolution, well, i think that is what google cardboard need, an hd resoultion.
My budget is 0-170ish, cant go above that.
Any recomendations on what phone i should buy?

How are those making it without Advance Calling topic

Think this only a VZW issue. I have my old Note 3 that I go back and forth between with my N6. If you are a busy person not just playing on the phone really using it for travel with GPS, email with exchange, busy with calls, etc. etc how are you all making it without Advance Calling to handle data and voice at the same time?

For me driving long hours using Google Maps and talking not able to look new address while on call and handle data is a killer...same with long conference calls and needing to send emails while on call or look up data via browser, dropbox, evernotes, etc and daily support stuff I do on my phone. So for time being I switch sims back and forth (have a nano to micro sim adapter) to my Note 3 more on it right now vs N6.

Thoughts?

Forgive me for asking this question here, as I have seen it in other areas of this site. I'll delete this if you want me to.

I've been looking everywhere on how to change my Verizon s5 to se linux permissive, for use with my app radio. Does anybody know how it's done? The only root I've found so far is for sprint.

Towelroot didn't work even with the app SELinuxModeChanger and su superuser.

People generally straight away start a new thread to get their doubts solved. But this can lead to chaos in the forum.

I'm creating this thread as an alternative to *New Threads* that aim to resolve a question.

Not only this, this thread can also become a Database kind of place where people can look if their question is already solved or not...

I request all members of the ASUS ZENFONE 2 sub-forum to help and answer some questions posted here if they can.

I hope you guys get the idea behind this thread...

[Q] Echo problem for the person i am talking with while making voip call topic

Hi,
I am using LG G2 (D802 32 gb 4G) made in Korea and whenever i talk to people using different VoIP software, they complain about echo .. (they are listening their sound). When i called from these same software from my friends' phone there is no problem at all.. So, its only with my mobile. When i use ear phone its fine, no echo.. only it comes when i use without ear phone. And also i found two VoIP software without this issue . those works perfectly. but most VoIP have this issue, which works perfectly on other phones.. So, please someone tell me that why this problem and how to solve it ..... Thanks in advance...

[Q] Help Making Apps Find SD Card instead on emulated storage? topic

I just got a LG Optimus L90 as the replacement device for my G2 (broken charger port) so now that I've backed up everything from my old phone I've ran into a problem. Most apps I need to use to restore files only look for files in /storage/emulated/0 on my device, but since my apps are on my external SD card I need to get apps to show all available storage's so that I can select my sd card. Anyone know of a way to do so?

[Q] Pimp my rom making systemui crash topic

I recently got a samsung galaxy tab 4 10" sm-t530 for Christmas and yesterday I decided to root it via download mode and Odin, all was well until I tried pimp my rom today. I changed the screen dpi a little bit and rebooted, only to be faced with a black screen and the error "unfortunately, the process com.android.systemui has stopped." I Did not create a pimp my rom backup because I got impatient after it was still on 0/100 in 50 seconds. I tried re rooting with Odin (Idk what I thought it would do) and it did nothing. I then cleared the cache via recovery mode and it did nothing, so I factory reset in recovery. Now I get the same error with the setup in the background and I can't interact with it. Is there anything I can do?

Need urgent help making nav buttons transparent topic

he onscreen buttons take up a ton of space. Is there anyway to make them smaller and transparent? This black bar on bottom takes up way to much room. I know in the past there had been options to edit them under the display settings but I am not seeing such options on any 5.0.2 ROM. (I have tried vanir and liquid smooth)

This is on a Verizon vs985. I am pretty familar with the build.prop if Editting it is a must.

I will even paypal someone money for a candy bar if they solve my delima.
