Unfortunately 'phone' stopped working topic

GPE Lollipop 5.01 RUU.

Phone just stops working when someone calls me. it shows the call but phone error message comes up straight away.

It's been working great for weeks,just started this morning. I haven't installed anything new. Tried clear cache data of app and cache of phone with reboot. Problem reappears immediately.

I can dial out with no problems.

Anyone know what's going on? Or how to fix?

[Q] USB stopped working after failed odin flash topic

Hi, I recently tried using a stock image with odin for my galaxy tab pro 8.4. Odin started flashing but failed when sending system.img.

I tried this process twice and got the same result even using a different USB port in may computer and a different cable but, after the second try (and as the first one I disconnected the computer and restarted into download mode), the tablet usb stopped working.

When I connected it in my first two tries, I got the typical windows sound when you connect anything in the usb, now I dont get anything and not even in the device manager. I tried with another computer and got the same problem, no usb connected sound and nothing in device manager.

My device is now stuck in odin mode. If I try to reboot normally I get into download mode but with the message "Firmware upgrade encounterd an issue. Please select recovery mode in Kies & try again".

I have tried deleteing de drivers and installing kies but still nothing.

Can you help me please?

I've rooted my Samsung S5 SM-G900F with Odin3 v.3.07, but as soon as I start up the phone it tells me the Health Service has been stopped, soon after that there's another alert which tells me the Context Service has been stopped. I've tried a lot, but nothing seems to work.

Could someone PLEASE help me out?

[Q] Fastnote cannot write on SD card & ColorNote stopped backing up also on SD card topic

Good day!

I'm using Sony Xperia Z3 and has been playing with note-taking apps Fastnote and Colornote.

Before, ColorNote writes its local backup to both internal and SD card memory (as you can also see on the backup settings it has both icons). But suddenly it stopped backing up on SD card, though it still backs up on internal memery.

Also this happened after I tried changing Fastnote's storage destination from internal to SD card, which while it has been successfully changed, it cannot write note to that new destination (SD card), but it does well on the internal memory.

What do you think guys? Any response will be greatly appreciated.

[Q] stoc browser - flash stopped working? topic

Can any s5 owners confirm for me that flash has stopped working on the stock browser in the past week??

I've definitely used flash in the stock browser and remember there being options in the settings menu pertaining to plugins and the ability to load them on demand etc

As of yesterday I have noticed that flash sites which used to work show a wee blue box with a question mark in (ie can't load plugin) and no options to enable flash in the settings.

Was there a sneak update that crippled the browser?

I did recently change some of the flash settings to preserve mobile data bit I should be able to switch them back on right?

Anyway it seems weird to me that it suddenly stopped working because I'm sure the browser hasn't updated.

I was flashing and using LP roms normally till I came back to KK.
After a week I wanted to come back to LP, but then, every lp rom I flash gave me the message "systemui stopped working" right after the boot
I can't even click an app icon

What i've already tryed:
-Clean Flash
-Dirty Flash
-Update Recovery (TWRP)
-Flash With/Without GAPPS
-Diferrents ROMS

Nothing seems to work, every rom gave the same error after flashing

Can someone help me?

Guys, good evening. I'm having some trouble with my G2 D805. I've been reading about enhancements and I reached the point of changing DPI Resolution. Then I changed the value of ro.sf.lcd_resolution from 480 to 320. The reboot killed me. I can't use my phone since it's popping on my screen "Sorry, com.android.systemui has stopped" every 2 seconds. I tried to use DroidExplorer on my PC to change it through windows explorer, I failed since I had to confirm the debugging pairment on my phone (which buttom isn't working). I tried then to make a hard reset with phone off. For my surprise, it's not working either. The LG Logo flashes while doing the steps and then the phone just turns off. I'm running out of options.

I appears I have damaged the hardware volume buttons of my Shield Tab. I don't know exactly when, I suspect either when I unlocked it(it was working while I was doing the unlocking), or when I dropped it the day before that, but I know for sure it was working immediately after that.

I was living with it fine using an volume app, the shield controller and my bluetooth headset buttons, but now I'm in trouble.

I was trying to get it rooted, which I didn't do after I unlocked it. Now it will not boot. Lack of volume buttons makes it so I cannot fastboot the device with hardware.

Right now I am very lucky ADB is working when it's booting, but I am afraid to do anything at all to it, as if I loose ADB while it's trying to boot it will be effectively a brick without the volume buttons working.

I think I need to take it apart and figure out if the vol buttons hardware is the issue, or something worse.

Is there any teardowns of the Shield Tablet? How do I open it?

[M7] "OK GOOGLE" Hotword detection stopped working topic

Since global and lock screen enabled hotword detection of "OK GOOGLE" was released on my phone officially(~8 months), I've used it daily. About two weeks ago, it stopped working.
I have taken quite a few steps to diagnose the issue, including everything in this thread, however, it still doesn't work.
Right now, I can't retrain the voicemodel and that's where its been stuck since just after it stopped working.When I attempt to toggle the checkbox to enable hotword detection "From Any Screen", it takes me to the "OK GOOGLE" voice training screen.from here it simply does not recognize ok google.
I had push bullet and microsoft remote control which were both mentioned as possible causes, I uninstalled them both, rebooted and still no luck. in addition, I've tried everything mentioned in this thread, as well as the HTC Microphone diagnostic, both mic tests passed

I've been getting random "Google Play services has stopped" messages for the last couple of days. Anyone else getting this message? I read that uninstalling updates but that option is greyed out and not available. I tried clearing cache but that doesn't help. Phone is rooted, running stock kernel. Thanks.

Hi guys I'm new here and hope.you can help me I'll give you a run down of my issue

So basically It started out with me wanting a cracked version of guru fx apk
And this required me to download freedom witch stopped my Google play from working

So I root uninstalled google play store (stupidly yes I know now)

Then I factory reset my phone hoping it would restore my Google play and all would be well but no google play store was missing so I manually installed google play and updated google play services using aptoide (as Google play won't work) and I thought that fixed it but it did not every time I open google play store I.get a message saying "google play store has stopped"

I hope someone can help me soon as I really don't want to.send my phone off for repair

Camera stopped responding on Galaxy S3 (vzw) topic

I know there are tons of threads about this, and others have managed to fix their issues...but I'm still not able to resolve mine.

I was running latest nightly build of CM11 (20141224), and the camera was working fine. I was taking pictures and videos using the Google Camera app. Then, after I finished taking a video and was about to take a picture, I got the "Camera error: can't connect to the camera". I've gotten this many times before, and simply rebooting has always fixed this issue. So I rebooted several times, but was still getting the same error. I tried using the default camera app that comes with CM, and then i get the "Unfortunately, Camera has stopped" message. I did Clear Cache and Wipe Dalvik Cache, but still same thing. I update to latest CM11 nightly build, and wiped all cache again, still nothing. Then I decided to do factory reset, clear cache, wipe dalvik cache, and reinstall the latest CM11 build. Still same issue. Then I did another factory reset, clear cache, wipe dalvik cache, installed SlimKAT 9.0 official build (not nightly) for D2LTE, and installed the SlimKAT gapps 4.4.4. Still the same camera issue with both the built in Camera app as well as the Google Camera app!@#!@# I am still thinking it's a software issue since so many people have had a similar problem and were able to fix it, but I've done everything others have done and it still has not worked. Am I missing something? Any last thoughts?

again the lte4 option was disapper so i root my device and edit the persist.radio.lteon file.

now my fm radio is not work...i really need help beacuse i'm using the fm radio every day and allmost all day.

i have tune in but still i prefere the fm radio. thx.

Unfortunately Android Wear has stopped topic

My wife's moto360 has recently stopped working. She woke up today and was greeted with a white screen that said "Unfortunately, Android Wear has stopped." Clicking Ok brings you to the watch face which hangs for a few seconds and then returns to this screen. During this period you cannot navigate the watch at all.

I have tried the following to resolve the issue but none of them have solved it.

1) Rebooted the watch by holding the button for 30 seconds.
2) Rebooting the phone.
3) Turning off bluetooth on the phone.
4) Uninstalling android wear.
5) Unpairing the watch and the phone.

Right now it looks like the watch is basically a brick. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to factory reset the watch without having to go through the menus on the watch (i.e. from a phone app for example).
