TIZEN topic

Any chance anyone would know when and if Tizen is coming to Note 4?

Another question is, how can we get our hands on it to play around with here, as a ROM.

I have found photos of it on Wiki, but that's not satisfying enough. I would like to see if it is better than Android. I have been reading that Samsung is going to part ways with Google..

Android apps on Tizen (Z1) with ACL, how about Gear Tizen? topic

Today brings news that the Samsung Z1 budget Tizen phone is about to be released released with Open Mobile’s ACL Technology, so that it can run android apps on tizen.

Do you think we'll be able to install ACL on our gear too? (or sideload as I'm guessing we won't be able to install through gear manager)

This way we could get the improvements and optimisations of tizen roms with the benefit of android apps! What are your thoughts?

I have a Galaxy Gear (1st gen) and it's still on Android.
Curious if I should stay on Android or move to the Tizen update? :confused:
I don't really plan to do much tinkering or hacking, but don't see much on rolling it back to Android if I don't like Tizen so thought I'd ask first.

Hi guys.

Im just looking for some advise if anyone knows.

Im very new to tizen and trying to figure out what can be done.

Im experienced with android roms and mods etc. Created quite a few myself.

Anyway theres a few questions i have.

1. Can tizen apps be 'decompiled' like android apps can? And if so does anybody have the tools to do so?

2. I read somewhere android apps can be modified to run on tizen?

3. I read up on sdb and pushed a few files to my gear to test and worked great. However can or is there a working recovery for tizen and can we have flashable zip etc like in android?

Would love to make some mods etc for tizen if its possible.

I have just bought a smartwatch from Banggood and it has whet my appetite for something running a more mainstream OS.

Are there any cheaper nonbranded watches running these OS's?
