[Q] Phone Freezing and Rebooting topic

Hello,

I am having an issue where my phone freezes and reboots. It does not seem to have any rhyme or reason why it is doing. Sometimes it will do it while it is just sitting on my desk doing nothing. When it crashes and reboots it will go into a boot loop showing the LG logo, then black, then showing the LG again. It will cycle through this loop a few times and will boot into the ROM eventually.

I have looked through the whole Q&A thread searching for freezing, auto restart, crashing, etc but have not found a fix for this. I have flashed back to stock with the LG flash tool using the tot and dll files. It started happening right after I got into the stock rom. I have clean flashed various different ROMs as well. It started happening when I was on Cloudy G3 2.1. I then went to the Resurrection Remix Lollipop rom and it happened there as well. I pulled the battery as well following a guide from youtube. Nothing has seemed to fix the issue. I saw a thread about using Ubuntu to push some img files and openrecovery to the phone but I am not sure if that will fix it either since I flashed back to stock.

Does anyone have any ideas or can point me to a thread I might have missed? I have the D800 AT&T model running the Resurrection Remix 1.7 ROM right now.

Thank you in advance for any help.

Phone keeps rebooting after ROM flash. topic

Hey. I got a problem with my beloved M7. Few days ago I gave a chance to CM12, but I got bored of it and tried to flash InsertCoin 4.0.5. Everything went well but now my phone boots up and locks the screen. If I unlock the screen, a green HTC logo on white background appears. After few seconds of showing the logo the phone reboots and locks the screen again. I can freely access the TWRP, but I have no backup and I lost CM12 installing files. Please can someone help me bring my lovely phone back to life?
P.S sorry for my English

Why is my S4 i9505 randomly rebooting after rooting? topic

I rooted my phone a couple of days ago using cf auto root. I haven't flashed a custom recovery yet. I deleted 1 systen app which was the YouTube app so i could install a better version. Then my phone randomly did a quick reboot. It went to the spinning samsung logo and then to lockscreen. It took about 15-20 seconds. It skipped the samsung music that usually plays during boot and skipped the screen that says samsung galaxy s4 gt i9505. And, sometimes the home screen just freezes until i go to a different application (like settings) or holding the home button. Since i rooted, these random reboots hav happemed about 8 times. Today it happened about 2 or 3 times. I've noticed that is triggered when the screen is powering off when i press the power button or after a minute of inactivity when it automatically dims and then powers off. But it doesnt happen like this everytime. However, one of them happened was while i was talking to someone on the phone.

A couple lf people have said that installing the latest firmware on my phone will help. But isn't there any othet way to fix it?

Why is this happening? What is causing this? Will this problem go if i unroot?

[Q] Note pro 12.2 keeps rebooting after using facebook app topic

i just got my note pro 12.2 wifi version (international) a few days ago and already experiencing problems, firstly the wifi was so slow so i updated it OTA to the latest stock firmware i can't remember what it is but it's the latest official 4.4.2 they have and that improved the wifi but now i'm encountering issues of rebooting randomly after using facebook app. it's always after i lock the screen it suddenly reboots after 2 mins or something especially if i have say been using a lot of memory for it.. ie if i scroll down 4000 friends that's when it always reboots once i lock the screen. is this liekly to be hardware or software issue or an app issue?

i have only had it a few days so haven't managed to play with it enough to test it to the max.

just now it rebooted and i played one youtube HD video and used multi window to use the facebook app (old version 7.0 - i like this version).. but i hadn't used the facebook app that much while on, the only thing i did different was i plugged in my samsung s3 charger into the note pro to test how long it would take to charge using a usb 2.0 connection instead. it's official charger official cable, is that likely to cause reboot issues?

previously it was just after using facebook for a long time for a ram intensive amount, i also tested it after reboot and using facebook a bit and locking screen and it didn't reboot so it made me think ok it's just when facebook is being used a lot and all the ram and memory is exhausted caching 4000 friends viewing so i didn't think anything of it.

is this likely to be hardware or software issue? are hardware issues ever the main problem with rebooting?

I know the usual tests, having to use odin to flash official firmware, trying a different facebook version, removing and not using facebook at all and see if it still reboots and lastly factory reset.

ideally i'd like to avoid all of those things as it is a major hassle and i can live with the reboot issue provided it isn't a hardware problem. is there anyway to test it to know for certain it is hardware and not software and the app?

S5 Overheating / Rebooting topic

I just got my new phone S5 (SM-G900QF - qualcomm) but the problem is my phone gets so hot that it reboot itself (on the antutu benchmark/stability test)

Wifi/3g and all those stuff are closed and the phone is not charging atm
My phone is Rooted and have TWRP recovery mod and also ChronicKernel-KK4.4-v1.5
When i check my cpu temperature on kernel tuner while testing i see numbers like 65-76 degrees in red (on load) 35-55 (idle-light load)
cpu is on interactive governor
gpu is overclocked (because of kernel)
the weather is also cold i'm freezing right now.

Please help me
