Notification sounds on speakerphone even when headphones plugged in topic

Hi I was wondering if there is a setting to prevent notification sounds from going through the speakers while earphones are plugged in.
Notifications sounds are only played through earphones if music is playing but through the speaker when no music is playing.

Port the Steam OS runtimes/apis/frameworks and things to android and maybe create a base that could be cooked into a rom. I know linux is based of android and its not as simple as that however I still think the discussion should be had and if it already is i need to know where so i can follow it. I really have no idea what type of form it would have to take whether a mod that could be added to a rom most likely having to be written for that particular model and stock of phone or custom rom that maybe once bilt could then be ported by other coders and so on. Or idk how much you can do with exposed but an exposed module or idk if this has been done before but a custom rom built for this purpose that also requires an exposed module but i think that defeats the purpose of exposed though my thinking was that it may be able to by pass conflicts.

TBH as you can probably tell i dont know alot but i do want the discussion itself to be had because i see it as valuable Please come and correct me on my ideas sure but dont discount the idea of porting steam os runtimes to android just because my knowledge is very limited and i probably have mixed my words up and dont know the correct technical terms. I am here to learn even if that means learning this is not possible.

[Q] Random reboots even after factory reset topic

Hi,
I have a Nexus 5 32 GB (not rooted) and updated to the latest android lollipop 5.0.1
However, it started doing random reboots since 2 weeks ago, sometimes when browsing, sometimes when pressing the power button to turn off the screen.
I decided to do a factory reset yesterday. However, the issue is still there.
I've read that a faulty power button can cause this problem? Do you think so? However, the power button is fully responding when I turn on/off the screen...

[Q] Samsung Galaxy S2 i9100 Stuck on Boot Screen - Can't Even Flash via Odin topic

Hello,

First of all, im sorry for creating a new thread for this very common issue.
the reason i decided to create a new thread is because i tried everything to solve this problem but no post on the internet was helpful.

so here it goes,
My brother has a galaxy S2 i9100 and it was rooted. few days a go he decided to factory reset the phone before unrooting the device first.
the phone then got stuck on Samsung galaxy S2 boot screen with yellow triangle at the bottom.

since then i have tried following but no method has worked so far...
1. downloaded Odin and the firmware file (tar/MD5)
2. i put the phone in download mode
3. i open Odin and only ticked Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time
4. clicked on PDA and selected the firmware file
5. after it finished checking the firmware in Odin i connected my phone and hit the Start button.
6. the process got stuck on boot.bin.

now, i have tried the above process with the following combinations,
3 different USB cables,
3 different Odin versions (Odin_3.10.0 , Odin3-v1.85 , Odin307)
3 different USB ports on My windows 7 ultimate X64 computer
2 different firmware files downloaded from different websites.
and restarted my PC several times before starting the procedure again.

The process always gets stuck on the same place (boot.bin)
i have also uninstall and reinstall the drivers.
finally i downloaded the Samsung Kies to avoid the driver confusion.
i also ended all the Kies processes from the task manager before running Odin as an Administrator.

i have also fully charged the phone few times and tried the whole procedure many times.
also kept the battery aside for few minutes before starting the procedure


somebody please help i have no ideas left anymore.

[Q] Moto E not downloading even though 3G/Wifi is ON topic

Dear All,
I could download apps from apps store in my moto E till few weeks ago.. but now, though 3G is ON still I am not able to download any apps.. the download process keeps going on & on without completing. Also I am not seeing any downloading icon at top of my screen..When I go back to check in apps store, it still shows installing..without actually doing anything.

What could be the problem?
