Issues:

- Stock messaging app..use a third party app like google messenger...see post #3 for setup
- extsdcard mounting issues only found with cards 64gb and up that are formatted to extfat....if you are not fat32 the card will not work with BrokenOS Rom..can if need be format to fat32 and the 64gb and up cards will work.

Flash/Install Instructions

If installing MY BrokenOS Rom for the first time, or coming from any other ROM:
- Make sure you're running a proper working Team Win Recovery Project
- Copy Gapps and Rom to your SdCard/Micro-SDCard
- Boot into recovery
- Make a nandroid backup
- Go to the wipes tab and wipe everything except internal storage and micro sdcard...Do Not Wipe Internal Storage or Micro SdCard!!
- Flash Rom, then Gapps
- Reboot

Upgrading from an earlier version:
- Copy the Rom to your SdCard/Micro-SdCard
- Boot into recovery
- Make a nandroid backup
- Go to the wipes tab and wipe cache and dalvick cache
- Flash the ROM and Gapps
- Reboot

[Q] Whoops...messed up and need to restore ROM... topic

Hi there -

I recently bought a D851 LG G3 from someone who told me they had rooted and unlocked it using PurpleDrake, but otherwise had left it as stock. I like the phone quite well overall, but the oversharpening on text was really bugging me. I noticed that there's a thread with a fix for that (here) and figured I'd try it out.

First, I installed TWRP using the TWRP Manager app from the Play Store. Second, I rebooted into TWRP and installed the .zip file for the Sharpening Mod. All seemed to go okay -- I got to the part of the Mod asking me for sharpening level, and it finished successfully -- but when I rebooted the phone, it's stuck in a loop where it shows the LG logo for a few seconds, then reboots. Being the bonehead that I am, I forgot to backup the existing ROM before I did this. :(

So that leaves me with two questions:

1. How do I get the phone functional again? I was happy enough with the previous ROM and am not necessarily looking for a custom ROM, but if there's one that's very stable and that people recommend, I'm open to that. I'm hoping to get Lollipop on the phone once LG releases it, so I'd like to avoid doing anything that will interfere with that.

2. Did I do something wrong when trying to install the Sharpening Mod? I'd really like to get that issue fixed...without screwing up the phone in the process. :p

[Q] Help choosing correct stock rom. topic

Hello everyone.

I've owned my Note 2 for since 2013 but it was unused for most of the time since I also own a Nexus. Before I stuck it into the drawer I installed CM 10. 2. Now I would like to go back to stock rom but am having a trouble choosing a correct rom. It is unbranded international version, baseband N7100XXALIH.
Can any of you guys kindly advice please?

SlimRoms is a custom android operating system. The main goal is to offer users a slimmed down but still feature rich alternative to other android operating systems.

[Q] Can't change boot image after flashing custom rom. topic

So, I flashed my Micromax Nitro A310 with a chinese rom based on MIUIv5 but that was too heavy for my device.
Along with the rom came this image (see attachment 1) that shows up everytime I power up/restart the phone.
Followed by the android animation (see attachment 2).
I have come to realize that the android animation can be changed easily via file explorers with root permissions.
But I have been unable to change the first image which although eye catching is not something one wants to see everytime their phone restarts.

So, My question is.
How do I change that image?
My device is rebranded coolpad F1 running on qualcomm.

Hey I think something went wrong with my canvas 4. Till yesterday mc4 was working fine on pxz2. But last night it stopped working and is showing the message which appears in stock Rom. I changed my Rom to funtouch, miui, speed rom, micronote but mc4 is still not working. I sent this game to my friend to check if game is corrupted but mc4 worked fine on his phone. And also whenever I turn my phone on it directly opens recovery mode. Any type of help will be so valuable... Thanks.... Must reply ur views.
