I can't change fonts.. Every apk I put on my device, it says "this font is not supported. It will be uninstalled"..
What can I do?

So I flashed my Desire 816 with a CM12 ROM using twrp recovery. Its stuck on the bootloop and I can't open the recovery as well. Someone please help me!

Everytime I try to flash a Sense custom rom I get stuck on the HTC logo screen. No matter what sense Rom it is. I can flash any other custom rom though. I am not on the latest firmware so I don't know if that is the issue.

I want to go back to stock. Can anyone help me out?

Hi folks, I have recently updated my Note 3 SM-N9005 from Kitkat 4.4.2 to Lollipop using the BL, CSC, CP AND PIT Files. But I didnt like Lollipop, lots of bug like no NFC, alarm doesnt work with flip cover, gps issue, etc.. So flasked original firmware (O2 Germany) with odin 9 but no luck. After successful installation my Note 3 just stuck at Galaxy Note 3 screen. Even tried factory reset, wipe data not still stuck at the welcome screen. Is there a way to install kitkat original firmware?

Can't connect to camera topic

Everything is working fine but when i try to open the camera it shows the erroe "Cannot connect to camera". Now please tell me what should i do to use my camera perfectly.????

So to clear things out my phone is not bricked it is currently rooted and has twrp recovery installed. I've been trying to restore it back to stock but the lg recovery tool will load my kdz file everything goes good then it tells me it can't detect my phone. I already installed and the usb drivers and still nothing I even tried enabling usb debugging mode and it still don't work. I also tried flashing in offline mode and it does the same thing it just wont detect my lg g2 can someone please help me out i want to send it in for warranty purposes but i need un-root it before i send it in thanks.

I'm having quite a bit of problem rooting my girls Verizon lg g2. I have done a bit of reading and came to the conclusion that I'm running everything I need to be running software wise for the process to work. Everything works until autorec or the root tool tried to boot into stock android recovery. All I get is a red exclamation, and the no matter what buttons I press I can't get any menus to come up to select the update.zip

Any help?

Can't make calls topic

For some reason I can't make calls. I'm using the stock dialer on a stock rooted ROM (see sig).

I dial a number and it looks like it's working (the call timer starts counting and what not) but it never actually calls. Just silence.

I haven't been able to test receiving calls yet but I did at least get some missed calls earlier when I was away from my phone (it was when I tried to return those calls that I discovered this problem).

I'm on Verizon. I have LTE set as my "Preferred Network Type" in Cellular Settings. Data works fine in both LTE and 3G areas. Texts work fine. Just calling seems broken.

Had anyone seen or heard of this? I searched this forum but didn't find anything.

[Q] Can't boot to recovery or download mode, only to CM topic

I made the mistake of flashing a CM nightly on my tablet, because now everything's broke. I had it set up with CWM and SlimLP alphas which were running fine, but now everything's bunk.

I've tried turning off the tablet, but it just starts back up again without warning, even when unplugged. I've tried every power/volume combination at boot, but it only boots to Android.

I hopped into an Android terminal session and typed

which sends the tablet back to Android post-boot.

ADB recognizes it as an ADB device, but it will only show as offline, and revoking the UBS authorizations doesn't prompt them again later.

I've even tried Odin Mobile and UAMP, as well as ROM Manager, but they won't flash anything either. Rather, the things they flash don't stick after a reboot.

What do I do?

I had gotten this issue on my Sammy S3 a while ago and I ended up having to do a full wipe to fix it. I do not want to have to do that to my N6. The normal stuff I would think to try is not working.

[Q] Can't Remove SuperSU topic

I wanted to get my Verizon M8 on 4.4.2 back to stock, and I found and followed this guide.

1. Flashed RUU


2. Relocked Bootloader


3. S-On

I got through everything successfully, except I can't get SuperSU permanently removed now. The in-app remove thing doesn't work and the Universal Unroot app didn't work. I Googled furiously and found things like this (part 2) and this, but nothing is working.

Is there anything else I can try?

My dad gave me his Nexus 4 to look at the other day because his phone is running slow and using up power very quick . I saw it has been installed couple of suspicious apps like gaining root permission, mobile assistant etc, can't remember the names cause I did a factory reset immediately (already backup the data). Ok it should be clean but then I saw a update notification (it's still on 4.4.3) so go upgrade. The phone reboot into upgrading interface, but after a while it showed 'Error' with a dead robot. I can restart the phone and it's sill in 4.4.3 and ok to use but just can't upgrade. I am thinking those apps must have done something otherwise the phone should be good to upgrade after a factory reset. I am thinking some app may have started a upgrade but somehow never finished (not sure, just my feeling). BTW, my dad knows nothing regarding these apps, they were probably installed by my nephew when he was visiting my parents. Any idea?:confused:

Can't change display to anything other than Auto Detect topic

Just got my fire tv in, plugged it into my tv and set it all up but noticed it looked pretty crappy display wise, I am using it on an older tube tv but it actually has a HDMI port at the back of it so it can't be that old right? ;) Anyways, the TV says its 1080p ready but I've never used anything HDMI on it before, is there anything I can do to make it look less crappy? I tried to go into the AFTV display settings to change them but its stuck on 'auto', it doesn't let me switch to any of the other options such as 1080p 60hz or even 720p 60hz, just says they aren't supported.....The TV also has component inputs and S-video if that helps but thats all.

Hi everyone, hope someone can point me in the right direction. Flashed OmniROM on an HTC desire (bravo) and it's working great. Only problem is when making a call, no sound comes out of the earpiece. If I put it on speaker phone it's fine, and apparently when it's not on speakerphone the mic works fine, people can hear me on the other end, but I can't hear a thing. Suspect the radio is the problem here so need advice on which radio to use (especially for internet use too) and how to install it. I have Ext4 bootloader installed too. This is my interim phone after my Samsung Galaxy S2 died completely (will not power up since it died during normal operation), which looks like it would need a JTAG burn to fix, right after I successfully replace the USB board. Anyway, any help appreciated. Thank you.

Hello! I've been trying for a very, very long time to change my boot animation. I've tried a lot of stuff, and none of it works. I've tried changing the bootanimation.zip, hTC_one_boot_up.zip, I've tried flashing a bootanimation.zip, nothing works. Can someone walk me through some steps to take to change it, and then listen to me to see if it works or not? I'd appreciate it.

Please bear in mind, although I've rooted it and all that jazz, I have a very rudimentary knowledge of my phone. So be careful about terms and such, as I might not understand everything.

[Q] HELP! Wiped system files now can't boot up the phone (says no OS installed) topic

Sorry but I'm a total rookie here. I first started screwing around with my stock Nexus 6 by rooting. Then somehow I ended up with TWRP installed (or whatever) on my phone. Today I received notification that 5.0.1 OTA was available and when I click install it just went into TWRP and wouldn't let me install the update. For some reason I messed with TWRP and erased everything. Now I'm stuck with a brick.

Oh an to boot I can't get Android SDK running on my computer because of JVM or something.

Can anyone help? I just want to go back to out of the box stock and start over if that's possible. No TWRP or rooting necessary for me after this episode.
