[Q] Stuck in TWRP topic
I just tried to upgrade from Alliance build 26 to build 30. I also loaded TWRP and used that to load update to build 30 since trying to load build 30 with CWM kept resulting in an abort with error 7. Now I am stuck at either simply booting into TWRP or to Droid logo to use Odin. I have have no useable file to recover to since all my backup files are CWM and I find out now they are useless in TWRP. Can I bypass TWRP and get back into CWM or am I screwed and need to start all over with Adam's thread to use Odin and stock files? Will I lose my saved CWM files entirely now on the phone itself? I need help please!
[Q] Stuck in TWRP topic
I just tried to upgrade to Alliance build 30 from build 26. I also loaded TWRP latest version after using CWM for a few years now. I had no idea CWM files would not restore with TWRP. Yes I was stupid but now I cannot install anything or get out of recovery having no working recovery file in TWRP. Do I have to start over with Odin? Can I somehow get back to CWM recovery files and bypass TWRP? I see my counter does not show any custom files and is still at zero. Please help me!

[Q] ADB with TWRP recovery topic
Hi everybody,
I was using the latest version of CWM (i think 6.0.4.7 Touch) and everything was OK. ADB in my PC recognized my Nexus and sideload worked too.
I've just tried the latest TWRP (2.8.4.0). Problem is, when I boot to recovery and connect phone with my PC, it won't recognize it.
A cannot see my phone in list of connected devices, when I type adb devices and adb sideload isn't working as well.
I upgraded to latest Samsung USB drivers (Android Composite ADB Interface version 11.0.0.0) and also the ADB in my PC (version 1.0.32).
Fastboot is working without any problems.
Does anybody know, how to make it work with TWRP?

[Q] KF HD 7" Gen 1 - I seem to have lost root but still have TWRP topic
I can still get into TWRP,
I have the super user in settings and have allowed titanium back up although it says I do not have access to root.
I recently installed cynogenmod 12 from this thread. and it originally worked ( I had root access)!
The problem was when I downloaded Super su and updated the binaries, it went into a loop on the bootlogo. So I wiped and flashed again although now I had lost root access.
What can I do to get it back, or will I have to completely restart the process?
Thank you,
Jack.

[Q] Can't get TWRP loaded on 310 topic
Need some help. I've been scouring the message boards and threads trying to get TWRP installed on to my T310. I've got odin up and running and have tried multiple times to flash TWRP to the device. Everything says it completed successfully but when I try to boot into recovery I just see the standard android recovery. My device is on 4.4.2 with a kernel version of 3.0.31-1984358. With no error messages to guide me I'm having a heck of a time trying to figure this out.

Backed up and restored using TWRP 2.8.3.0 - EFS corrupted topic
Helping a friend, I have a T-Mobile s5 here that was working flawlessly on all stock software. Then installed the latest 2.8.3 TWRP using odin and proceeded to make a full backup including EFS to SD Card.
I installed the later CyanogenMod and gapps and then wanted to return to my stock backup to maintain full support for a Samsung gear watch. Rebooted to TWRP, attempted full-restore and restore said it was completed, but was not. It'd get part-way through recovering files and then jump to completed. Odd.
I then downgraded the recovery to 2.8.1 (my device is running that version and backup/restore seems to work great) and then attempted restore again. Says complete but fails and will not boot. Trying to do an advanced-wipe would give me errors and would not complete a simple wipe of System. I tried to restore again but with using md5 verification. With that enabled, the md5's fail- even on EFS.
I then just stock odin-installed stock firmware. The phone booted just fine, upon setting, network was working perfectly., ESN is good, etc. I then turned on WiFi and things were fine. Connected to a WiFi network and shortly after it would soft reboot itself. It'd do this every time I connected to a WiFi connection. I noticed sometimes when I went into the WiFi panel, there would be a message for a moment saying it was in Factory Mode.
So, it will NOT connect to a WiFi network now but everything else seems to be okay. Because we attempted restore of what seems to be a corrupt backup, I believe this could have caused EFS issues and I do not know what to do to fix this.
I have read so many different things and one being that backing up and then deleting the /EFS folder and rebooting may fix the WiFi issues but I didn't dare mess with that.
Any suggestions?

Lg G3 backup with twrp topic
Hi guys,
I am trying to backup my phone using lg pc suite but when lg pc suite forces my phone into reboot, the phone boots into twrp recovery which cancels the backup process. Is there anyway to stop the phone from booting into twrp temporarily? or some other work around? Even if i reboot manually from twrp the backup process seems to have already been interrupted. thanks.
