Removing apps topic

Hi since lollipop I can't remove apps, just freeze. Is this because I'm on an odex rom, and they are split? Or is it lollipop stopping me? The tools work great with kk4.4.2

Help Removing group sms limit 20 recipients - Galaxy S5 topic

Hello everybody.

I'm new here and yes I registered my account mostly for this question but I've searched my ass off here and via google for the last two hours in order to get this on my phone.

I want to be able to add as many receipents as I like to the send message dialogue. Yes my phone is rooted (CF Autoroot method 2), and no I don't have a custom rom and would like to not have to install one. Yes I'm aware I might have to repeat this product with firmware updates.

I found a simlar guide for many other phones including Galaxy S3, S4, Note 3 and so one. Here is one http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2055947 . Either this or some wort of APK-unlock file is my idea? Other solutions are also welcome.

Found this: https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...smslimitunlock but it's just for the messaging limit not recipient limit.

Many thanks in advance.

Edit: Maybe the topis is a bit misleading since I dont want a group sms convesation, just the ability to send a text to as many recipients as I want to and override the 20 person limit.

[Q] removing stock apps correctly (busybox and terminal emulator) topic

Alright, so checking up the system folder with root explorer I noticed that there are several applications related to the stock music player.
I can't just simply remove these "apks", right? Pretty certain there'd be leftovers of this app somewhere.
So, I realize, there's no "uninstall" script for the music app, but I was wondering, what is the most correct way to delete music application?
Simple doing this won't cut it, right?

Code:

---

su
cd system/app
mount -o rw,remount /system
rm -r MusicCommonUtility
rm -rMusicLiveShare2.apk
rm -rMusicPlayerWT.apk
mount -o remount,ro /system

---
